I get really itchy mosquito bites that swell up and turn red, and generally, it makes me hate mosquitoes, getting bitten, and the great outdoors. Unfortunately, for some bites, it does not seem to work very well, but I suspect that's because they aren't mosquito bites. When I have a confirmed mosquito bite, this item is amazing. I have only done the 3 second option because it's already hot before 3 s, and I'm worried about burns. Plus, the 3 s option is enough if it's a mosquito bite. I just killed a blood sucking mosquito earlier today, and within a few minutes, I used this item, and it did try to swell up, but it wasn't itchy at all. Now, a few hours later, the swelling and the redness is gone. No itchiness. I totally recommend this item. It's convenient, it's portable, it's easy to use. Plus, you don't smell of garlic or have sticky fingers from smearing some weird paste that only sort of works for a couple hours at most, and then you're stuck trying to use other home remedies for the next couple days. In addition to healing from the weeping wound that you've scratched open. So just buy it.

All of my life I have been a mosquito magnet. They love me for some reason. My husband and I will both be outside, and I’ll literally get 20 bites, and he’ll get none. Then I itch so badly that I’ll scratch myself bloody, and my sleep will be disrupted. I’ve tried every lotion and repellant known to man. The repellants help, but this thing saves me when I forget to use repellant or end up with a bite anyway. Yesterday I went outside to feed the chickens and ducks, and I got 15 bites on my arms and legs. We were going out that night, so I showered and then sat down to treat my bites. I find that this genuinely works, at least for a few hours. I find that I later have to re-apply the heat to the bite to numb the itch. Once I do, the itch definitely goes away. The product comes in very good quality packaging and is made really well. Not flimsy or easy to break. I've dropped it a couple times already and it still works well. Easy to use and if you can handle the few seconds of burn, it is worth it because that little bit of burn easily outweighs the hours and days of itch and bleed and scab that I usually get from bites.

I must say, I was skeptical buying this gadget, but after coming back from up north and being bitten alive , I figured it can’t hurt! Boy was I pleasantly surprised ! I had many mosquito bites on my legs that were itchy and after using the 3sec setting on many of them that were itching me, it was gone almost instantly ! I was shocked ! it lasted a few hours until I had to use it again but I found relief ! And no chemicals used! I’m very happy with the product and results and will be carrying this with me up north next time around . Battery operated and easily fits in a small purse . Must add that it heats and stings for those few seconds but totally worth going through that to get some itch relief . My 10-8 and 7 year old kids even managed to pull through the burn lol . Highly recommend !
