3M Cubitron II Stikit Disc 775L, 87430, Multi Pack, 5 in x NH, 240+, 320+, 400+ Coating Cut Cutting Angle Flute Purple

These discs are great. I use them by hand and the last for ages. I took the laquer of a jumbo guitar top with one disk 320 grit. That to me is a good job done. Now just need more guitars.

After watching Stumpy Nubbs on you tube (A game-changing NEW way to sharpen! (Scary SHARPER!)), I used this to sharpen a chisel. In seconds i was bleeding. One blunt chisel was scary sharp in minutes ... and hence I nicked a knuckle with it. I wanted to get ones with a self-adhesive surface so I could place it on a glass surface for flatness. At first I thought there was no self adhesive surface... but was able to unpeel the thin protective layer to reveal the self adhesive surface.

It's not clear from the description what you get and I think you get good value with 3 of each, nice surprise!

As described very good paper. Better than normal sand paper

These arrived discoloured and crumpled. Useless for what they are sold for.

This product is far more durable providing longer life in use. Well presented and although a little more expensive, reduces frequency of orders. A good alternative for preparing finish.

Very quick but back from coarse disk and smooth flattening from fine disk. Well made and hard wearing backing material that allows for long use. A decent price for use when compared to standard sand paper that quickLy clogs or falls apart with hard use.

These discs are just the best. I used them to shapen wood chisles as seen on taytools.com website. The results were exceptional.

Heb het product reeds gebruikt en het werkt perfect.

The discs were partly discolored. Damaged by moisture? They wore out very fast. Tried sharpening a chisel, but the disc were done way before the chisel was. Can't recommend.

3m Cubitron hands down is the best sandpaper. Lasts much longer the any other, cuts so much better and leaves a better finish! Use this for chisel sharpening and your time will be a small fraction of what it would be otherwise.
