I’ve had fresh green chillies sitting in one of the containers in the fridge for a month and they’re still fine. Past experience of chillies in a plastic or paper bag has been 1 week before the mould starts.

1st set had to be returned as didn't hold vacuum.Replacement works grand so far. Used for fruit salad, marinade and left overs.Sturdy and easy to use. Very pleased.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Had these for 1 month now. They keep my veggies so fresh in the fridge, my lettuce lasted 3 weeks! Even then, some slight spoilage on the top pieces and the middles and bottoms looked and tasted fresh! Only issue i have is, sometimes on one of the boxes (the large one) the lid sometimes doesnt work when i use my bonsen vacuum sealer. A bit of prowling with the lid (changing the sides) and it eventually holds a seal. This is why im giving 4 stars. But i will be buying more soon definitely.

I liked these storage pots for several reasons. They were sensibly sized, they stack, they can be seen through.They wash well in the dishwasher (on economy of course) and for their usefulness, are reasonably priced.

I bought 4 of these useful food-storage boxes. Three out of the 4 were fine, but the other container had a faulty seal and did not hold a vacuum. Several other reviewers have noted this issue and I suggest you keep the original packaging until you are happy that your storage containers are vacuum sealing reliably, I had to send mine back for replacement. Vacuum food storage boxes are a great idea to keep food fresher for longer but the reliability of this product is not quite what it should be.

Works well but sometimes the release valve does not reseal when turn but after a bit of fiddling they work the tubs are very robust.
