These things are great. Gets the job done! Definitely picks up hair. It does require a bit more power because sometimes the hooks get hooked and you have to pull hard enough but man oh man do they pull a lot of hair out. Very cheap too so definitely worth the money and very easy to use. Definitely cleans the drains of hair and the design is great, like any other snake.

This product is absolutely fantastic. I’ve used it to unclog drains filled with Barbie hair, human hair, a whole pack of dental floss…the list goes on, but its real magic is in unclogging a toilet. A toddler decided to flush a pacifier, what fun, and after insufferably plunging and snaking, I had the desperate idea to use the grasping tool that comes with the orange drain cleaners - popped that bad boy right out after a few tries. You’ll be shoulder deep in a toilet bowl, but it beats the $250 charge for the plumber. Second time I had a kindergartner flush half a roll worth of toilet paper…ah, childhood. Plunged for 10 minutes. Nothing. Snaked it, splashed water all over the bathroom floor (yay, another mess to clean! Have kids, they said!), and then finally thought of the drain tool. Again, shoulder deep, but pushed the orange tool up there, twirled around a few times, repeat x3, and the clog is gone. My husband was so proud, as he stood gallantly in that bathroom doorway…completely clean…and watched.These things are a gift, and definitely under utilized, they’ve saved me at least $500. Buy a pack and have them for when you need them…which, if you have curious little ones who love to explore…might be tomorrow.

The build quality is good for the money. It drains my clogged sink with minimal effort. I could give it a 5 star but the gripper’s handle that comes with is so hard to pressed. Functionality wise, it is a good buy.

They came individually wrapped. The orange ones were bent. I was able to bend the ones I used back a little, not too much, because they looked like they could break. There was no instructions. But I've seen pictures of how they are used. It was pretty easy to use them. I use the fisrt one in the sink drain, which is clogged from an oatmeal facial treatment. Unfortunately, the sink is still clogged. HOWEVER, THIS WORKS TO PULL HAIR OUT. I didn't expect any hair since I don't use the sink to wash my hair or any hairy part. But, the amount of muddy-looking, gross hair that came out was shocking!!!! It kept bringing out hair. It was gross. I tried a new one in the tub drain: it didn't work. Those hair remover tools are too big. The tool with the little hand like thing (the metal one) didn't get anything out of the sink or the tub drains. I would only recommend the orange plastic ones.

I had a slow bathroom sink drain that did not clear with a sink plunger and hot water. Bought this product, was able to put the plastic Orange snake thru the drain hole (without taking out the stopper), inserted 3 times (in and out) to pull out the gunk buildup (soap, shaving cream buildup). Wiped up the nasty gunk that was pulled out, Ran hot water and voila. I’m a senior female, and have never done any type of plumbing without asking my hubby. So ladies, you can do it yourself and feel very proud of yourself.

I recently tried this tool set, which includes 6 plastic drain cleaners and 1 metal snake. The product has both positives and negatives. On the positive side, the plastic drain cleaners are inexpensive and effective for simple clogs. In my experience, the orange defogger worked well in removing hair clogs from my sink, especially when I couldn't access the drain stopper.However, the metal snake with claws was a letdown. It did not fit into my bathtub or shower drains, which was disappointing. Additionally, the plastic snake got stuck in the tub drain, making it difficult to remove.
