Tool Essentials Self Adhesive Fiberglass Tape 2" x 65' (Single)

I used this tape along with E6000 (Industrial Strength Adhesive (sold at Lowes Hardware around $6) repaired my John Deere LX188 broken hood!) INCREDIBLE! I can not take credit for this, I saw it on YouTube. With these two products I feel you can fix pretty much anything. Heat resistant!! 💕 THIS STUFF!!!

I bought this fiberglass tape to cover drywall cracks with spackling and it worked great, but also found it to work well to reinforce epoxy repairs. Recently I had a plastic bucket that cracked where the metal handle on both sides hooked. Rather than just putting epoxy over the crack that eventually pulls away, I decided to place the adhesive fiberglass tape over the cracked portion, then spread the epoxy over the fiberglass tape. It's like putting rebar in concrete - it's strong as can be!! I've since used full loads of water in this for weeks, and it seems much stronger than new. I'm confident the bottom will fall out before this handle crack ever breaks again.I also had a handle break off of one of my plastic measuring cups. Step one was to epoxy at the break and let it set overnight. Then I trimmed the fiberglass tape and applied it top and bottom over the break and applied more epoxy to both sides. Just like my bucket, it appears to be a fix that will last longer than I do.

Worked extremely well at joining joint of cement backer before I tiled my kitchen. Not adhesion time the boards. The tape didn’t slip at all when I covered/ feathered it in with mortar.I would buy again. Great for tile work.I hope this was helpful.

Patched 1 inch holes in the ceiling by making plugs by folding the tape. Worked great! Easier and cheaper than hiring someone.

Easy to use. Had to float mud several times to have the texture of the tape disappeare.

It's a good product , however you dont get very much of it. Rolls need to be bigger.
