Works great!
Keep some on hand. It’s never fun when the fridge or freezer light burns out and you don’t have any trips to the store planned for a while. My kids say this makes me a hoarder lol.

Exactly what I needed for my oven — handles the heat perfectly
This bulb worked perfectly as a replacement for my oven light. It screwed right in, turned on immediately, and has held up to the high heat without any issues. The warm white glow is just right — bright enough to see everything clearly but not harsh.I also like that it’s rated for 500 degrees. I’ve had cheaper bulbs burn out quickly in the past, but this one seems much more durable. It’s also nice that it can be used in other appliances like microwaves or range hoods, so I’ll probably grab a couple more to keep on hand.Simple product, but it does exactly what it should.

Excellent bulbs for an excellent price
I needed a new bulb for my oven light. For some reason the pricy ones at Walmart kept blowing. These have proven to be a great replacement so far. I like that these come 4 in a box, so if one does go out, I have extra on hand. They fit my oven perfectly, very easy to install, and the perfect brightness. I’ll update on durability and burnout later.

Not As Bright As Standard 40W Bulb
I was surprised today when these bulbs arrived to discover that 40 watts is apparently an arbitrary measurement.These 40 watt bulbs are not nearly as bright as the 40 watt bulb I removed to install an official applicance bulb in my range hood.I wanted a heat resistant bulb, since i'm using this in the hottest part of the kitchen. A standard 40-watt bulb does get too hot, and I was concerned that it might melt the plastic cover inside the range hood and start a fire. But the difference in light is very measurable. The light is dimmer above my stove now.At $1.52 cost per bulb, I'm not complaining. Appearance isn't relevant, since it's hidden inside the hood cover.

so far, so good...
These were fairly inexpensive for a pack of 4 bulbs. I have no idea how long they will last, but I will update my review if they fail prematurely. I'm wondering if new, or future, stoves will use longer lasting LED lights.
