Omax - Comfylap Adjustable Vented Laptop Table Laptop Computer Desk Portable Bed Tray Foldable Ipad Stand Multifuctional & Ergonomics Design Tabletop up to 17"

My job requires a lot of time at the computer and a lot of time reading, both of which encourage me to hunch over. This device is a wonderful remedy to that problem. In my office at work, I have the keyboard to my desktop computer on one of these; it allows me to work in a more "heads-up, back straight" posture. At home, I use one to hold either my laptop or a book; I can relax in my comfy chair (and even recline!) while working. This table can be adjusted into almost any configuration. It's fairly sturdy and well-designed.(Actually, it turns out that I have two of these from different suppliers. But as far as I can tell, they are nearly identical. The other one, is from Pwr+.)

The item description states clearly that it has a rubber anti-slip sleeve. The item I received does not. I did not receive the USB light either, but that was not something I was interested in anyway.

The laptop stand I received is not the one pictured on the website. It is a similar but inferior design, and the packaging makes no reference to Omax or Comfylap. A relative has the actual Omax product which matches the pictures exactly, so I am 100% sure this is a different item.The stand is missing the rubber cover around the main hinge, but a bigger deal to me is the rotating joint design. The pictures show a pointer which you can line up with the degree markings, which makes it easier to set each leg to the same position. The item I received does not have this feature. It seems okay other than these two things, but the inferior joint design was a deal-breaker for me as it is one of the best features of the genuine Omax stand.The stand came without the USB light that was promised, although I didn't care about that. But I do resent being misled by the seller. I contacted them to complain, and they offered a refund and sent me a link to print out a return address label with free shipping. That's great, although 6 weeks after I returned it they have yet to refund my money. I see they have not changed the pictures or the description, so buy this product at your own risk...

Adjustable mechanism works well. Venting means holes under where the keyboard will be placed. There is no rubber anywhere period. Also there is no USB light. Functionality very good, but if you want a unit with anti-slip rubber, this is not for you. Also, the user manual that came with the product describes a cooling mechanism which is not what we ordered. So - no rubber anti-slip protection, no USB light and the incorrect manual. We are keeping the unit because it works fine (and will develop a work around for the absence of anti-slip) but would suggest possible buyers consider this is the second review with the same observation. Shipping - DHL tracking stopped 2 days before we received the unit - they apparently handed it off to USPS which did not come up on our tracking details at all.

This is a clever device. It is well designed and well made. While light in weight, it seems quite robust.How does it work? There are 3 numbered dials on either side, marked in degrees, They can be locked at various angles. The included instructions (and box pictures) show many possible variations with dial settings. Simply set the dials to get that configuration. It is very easy to do.Now to address some concerns raised in other reviews. While the product is good, the English translations are a bit suspect. Not hard to understand, but may have resulted in confused descriptions. This is from Omax, and the box says Omax. There is a nice rubber bumper that attaches to the bottom of the desk. As noted by others, there is no USB light. There is a version of this desk (not this one) that is the same size, uses the same box, but has USB-powered cooling fans built in. May that one has a USB light? Anyway, the version in this Amazon offering has no fans and no light.

Gave it to my husband as a gift to use with his laptop on our bed while he is watching TV. Works great and he is enjoying it and is thrilled that it is adjustable to his liking. Great product.

This is a lightweight but sturdy laptop table. It's not difficult to adjust. Affordable, too. One of the best buys I've made in a while!
