Cheap racks. Poor hardware. Would not recommend.
This is a review of the "MaxKare Ski & Snowboard Car Racks Universal Roof Rack for 6 Pairs Skis/4 Snowboards Aviation Aluminum Resistant to -60°C Upgraded Ski Rack 33inch Fit Wing/Oblate/Square Crossbars."This may be a case of getting what one pays for.Springs that hold arms up are weak, poorly positioned, and virtually useless.Whatever. The racks were cheap, and not a deal breaker.The Mounting hardware , though, is another story. It includes bolts which are too short. Nuts barely get purchase, and could easily loosen, causing failure while driving. One bolt stripped and could not be used. Had to fab my own with my own hardware, washers, and a dremel. That was the only one I actually had confidence in. Was worried the others would fail when driving to pick up a replacement for these racks.Would not trust these, and considered them a liability while on the car. Would definitely NOT recommend, and have returned.

Dos not fit toyotas 4runners.
This is a good product, priced fair, I would of keep it, if it actually fits my vehicle. Unfortunately for all those who have a 4runner this product will not fit your crossbarsThat's why I'm returning it.

Perfect for ski!
Bought it for the snow season, love it!It is soft in the middle, which won't hurt my ski boards like my previous one, even it is soft, it can hold / stuck my ski boards firmly, driving on high way is worry free. And also it comes with a lock, which make it more safe during rest on the way, really love it.

Metal latch! Solid rack.
great product. the latches are metal, not plastic like Thule (which broke on second use).

Will not work for wing style roof rack (even though it says it will)
DO NOT buy if you have a wing style roof rack. The bolts for that installation type are at least an inch too short to install

Strong hold!
Took me about 30 minutes to set up. It works perfectly. Took my snowboards safely up to the mountain and down from mountain. Feels pretty sturdy.
