game for peaky blinder lovers!
got this to play with my friend who is a huge peaky blinders fan, and he LOVED it. honestly, the rules and references were kind of confusing to me cuz i never watched the show and I just got it to really play with him and his other friends who did watch the show, but they seemed to really love it, and they clamored for the five star rating, so here ya go.

Could use some change to the rules
So I will preface that I am not game designer, just a casual board gamer so take my rating at that first.I LOVE hidden objective and bluff games and this fits both those overall.I also enjoyed the show so thought hey cool way to immersive into the game with knowing what things are actually meaning outside of the game mechanics. What I didnt love is that bluff games are often pretty simple to learn to teach and play, but this one has a few extra mechanics involved that sometimes over complicated things. My biggest gripe is that is seems like the "What you get when you bluff" doesn't really give enough to make the Risk/Reward worth actually bluffing.I found that I would just not bluff or call people bluffs because I could gain resources much faster. So unless I read the rules wrong when you bluff you do the bottom action, IMO you should be able to do both actions. So for example if you tell the truth you get to gain or steal a resource.BUT if you bluff you get to gain a different type of resource or steal a different type of resource but that is it.So its just another different action but really doesnt make me want to use it that often.SO if instead you got to do both actions, or if the bluff actions had two different outcomes then it would make more sense to risk it.

Good gambling and bluffing card game!
I got this card game mainly because I am big fan of the series. However, I have to admit that the card game doesn’t have much to do with the actual series except some pictures on the intrigue cards taken from the series. The card game is based on gambling and bluffing. You need to play your cards, bluff and push your way through sabotaging your opponents to win the game. The game is designed for 3-6 players, but we even played it with two players with a dummy third player. It can probably take anywhere between 15 to 45 minutes to play this game and could be more when you play with 6 players. The box is high quality and has two compartments to store the cards with extra room.Game play:There are three resource types in the game and the goal is to get 5 cards of the same resource type to win the game. You start the game with three random resource cards, one face-up card and two face-down cards that your opponents can’t see. You can get more resource cards by playing the intrigue cards that let you do different things like gaining resource cards, stealing them, hiding yours, forcing the opponents to lose cards or just seeing their hands. When you play each intrigue card, you have two choices, bluffing or playing it safe. Each card has two different descriptions for bluffing or playing it safe. You need to memorize the number of each card played to be able to potentially call the bluffs and prevent your opponents from getting resources. You win when you have 5 resource cards of the same type at the beginning of your turn.Cons:The hard thing about this game is that you will only read the name of the intrigue card when you play it face down. Your opponent has then the chance to let you use the name that you called or just call your bluff purely based on the name you called without knowing what the descriptions are. And it is worse because from each name, there are two descriptions available, half are when you are playing it safe and the other half are when you bluff. This makes calling the bluff pretty much just luck-based and nothing else unless you play the game so many times that you can memorize all the cards or know the other players very well.Overall, the game is decent. But if you are just buying it because you are the series fan, I would not recommend it.

No background knowledge of Peaky Blinders needed
Never watched Peaky Blinders series. It takes me more than 10 mins to read the rule books. it's a relatively long one for a party game. but the game itself is pretty fun, strategy and memorization matters! Recommend as a small party game.
