I bought two of these, one for my 11 year old cat that suddenly stopped eating the dry food we keep out, and he became anorexic. He lost 5 pounds which needed to be gained back as quickly as possible for his survival. Coincidentally our other cat become obese. For Cat 1, we need to feed him a high protein wet food diet so that he gains weight, and for Cat 2 we switched to a dry food with fiber so she can lose weight.We needed a way to ensure that the skinny cat only eats the food to fatten him up, and the fat one only eats the diet food. The Sure Feeder works great for that! Each cat eats only what they are supposed to, and both feeders work flawlessly. FYI I have not experienced the problem that others have mentioned regarding one of the cats sneaking behind and eating the other's food - but YMMV.I had one opportunity to call their customer support in the UK (I am based in Dubai), and they were fantastic. One of the feeders had a glitch with a red light blinking and no action, and it was fixed with a simple reboot. But the personal service I received was really terrific.Overall I - and my two cats - have had nothing but positive experiences. If you are in a situation similar to mine, I recommend that you give this a try.

I cannot recommend this product highly enough. We have one cat on a special diet who needs to be able to eat whenever he wants & this is perfect to stop the others stealing his food.

Speedy delivery, original product. Easy to set upI got this to prevent my cat (who is allergic) from eating her brothers food. Works really well but i need the back cover to prevent her from sneaking through the backMy only issue with the product is that the dish is too deep and plastic. I noticed my flat nose cat struggling to eat and trying to collect the kibbles from the slippery (and huge) dish. After rescuing 3 cats, who ended up all with different nutritional needs (kitten vs adult, special GI food for one, and medications for the other), ensuring everyone got what they needed was almost impossible. Surefeed was the perfect solution and has offered such peace of mind - everyone gets their full portions (no food stealing), i only have to pay for the medicated food for the kitty who needs it, and the cats can graze as much as they want!Cons:Cost - this item is expensive, especially for 3! I definitely had to save up for each one. But, for the benefits above, I think it's worth it.Microchip - I had no issue with Minnie, however for the 2 boys for some reason I had the hardest time getting the feeders to recognize their microchips. I called customer service (they were fabulous), who changed the mode to recognize expanded frequencies of chips in case that was the issue. It wasn't, but worth a shot if you're having trouble. Ultimately, I think their chips were just too far back on their bodies and the boys weren't getting close enough to trigger. What worked the best was buying a stand which raised the feeder just enough that when the boys walked up they were positioned further inside the opening. Now the feeder senses their chips no issue. I bought the stands on etsy, but I'm sure you could find it other places if you think it would be helpful.Note: Surefeed does provide tags you can use in place of a microchip, but none of my cats wear collars, and the attempt to get the boys used to collars was NOT going well. So relieved I could get it working! If your cat already wears a collar though, this would be an easy alternative.Overall, an amazing prodect, and would highly recommend for anyone with multiple cats!

I bought two of these for my cats. One cat has really bad allergies but is also a slow eater, the other two cats are just pigs but have no allergies. Hypo food is also expensive so I was spending a lot on food so I thought I’d try this out. They are sooo cool! I’m an vet tech and I have been recommending these to everyone. I also bought the hub and with having two cats sharing one feeder it’s great! I can see who is eating and how much and when. They all learned how to use it very fast and the two piggies can’t get into the other feeder no matter how hard they try. It’s been sooo great! The dishes are easy to clean and the built in scale makes my life so easy, I just fill till it says to stop. Some people had trouble connecting the hub but I don’t seem to have any problems. It’s in a room adjacent and still connects to both no problem. I also work 12 hour days so it’s great to know if they have eaten or not or who ate. No problems so far!

Wir hatten schon Jahrelang einen normalen Surefeed Futterautomat und waren damit auch sehr zufrieden.Jetzt haben wir uns für den surefeed connect entschieden. 2 bestellt, einer lief Problemlos, der zweite verlor in rekordschnelle Batterie.Wir haben den zweiten dann reklamiert, einen neuen bestellt und seither läuft alles super. Die Batterie hält.Seither sind wir sehr zufrieden mit beiden Futterautomaten.Sie funktionieren sogar mit den dafür gefertigten Keramikschalen.Er lässt sich sogar einfacher, als der normale surefeed, reinigen!
