I feel fairly certain this adhesive is intended for hard surfaces. I do not think it would hold on fabric unless it is very low or no pile.

Q: Can you apply this to a cold windshield? And is there a minimum application temperature?

They don't give you information as far as application temperature as far as myself I turn the engine on for a few minutes with a defroster and at least warm it up a little bit
