Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my first set of digital manifold gauges. For the quality and features the price was way below some of the other brands that have also been out. The size was also a factor due to the fact that it can fit in one hand if needed.Look:The unit is very rugged. I did a lot of research when looking into a gauge / manifold for working on HVAC systems. What was important to me was accuracy and simplicity and I'm glad I spent a little extra on this digital manifold vs some of the cheaper analog systems.The biggest benefit of using a system like this is that you can select what you want on the screen, work with different refrigerant types, and it automatically calculates values (like superheat and subcool) automatically if you have the proper gauges hooked up.The wireless sensors (temperature clamps) work in conjunction with the hoses reading temperature / pressure of the high and low side ports. This is what allows you to know the subcool and superheat.There are also places in the case (which is a hard shell case) for other wireless sensors, so I am storing the digital probes and vacuum probe. I ultimately purchased the wireless digital probes alongside this unit because I wanted the flexibility to use a more traditional gauge, or if I wanted a quick reading, just use the digital probes. These are great because they hook up directly to the High / Low ports, and you don't need to use hoses so when testing on an existing system, you are losing next to no refrigerant.The App works as a sort of 'second screen' to the main manifold. You can track and graph readings over time, so you can see a graph of temperature / pressure change as you are working on the system, or when filling.One note, some other reviews mentioned that it eats through batteries - I've not experienced any issues and still using the same batteries from 3+ months ago.Overall, this has been one of the most vital pieces to building a toolkit to work on HVAC systems and at a much more competitive price when compared to other digital manifolds.

is a gauge, a manifold, you are a tech and that the reason to buy this unit. So now why 5 starts, I had a issue with the instruments after 2 months of used, I think was software related (not able to restart and consuming the batteries fast) what I still made me keep it is the service that I got after the issue, I send a mail to Testo services and they reply faster and after I sent the instrument, they fixed no questions ask. (of course even if it was a software or hardware related I like the fast response from the service)

Actually gave me a good laugh when I opened up the package to find out that hoses were not included.

Couldn't be happier. Used it on my own air conditioner/heat pump, And you can just tell it's high quality. Can't wait to use this in the field.

Quality is great for the money. Use this product everyday. You can charge a unit right through sub cooling. The case keeps it protected when not in use.

Great tool, feels a bit more tobust than my old 550. Highly recommend
