Great Value Deep Fryer – Easy to Use and Clean!
The Amazon Basics 3.2-Qt Deep Fryer has been a great addition to my kitchen. It fries evenly and heats up fast, but what really impressed me is how easy it is to clean. The parts come apart easily which makes cleaning very easyThe oil container is simple to empty dissasemble and wash. For anyone who hates taking apart complicated fryers as much as I do, this fryer is a win.Great performance, good size, and super low maintenance—definitely worth it!

Not too small and not too large - just right for 1-4 servings
One could deep fry in a sauce pan with a wire insert basket (I have one of those) or one could use a fryer specific implement. The advantage of this deep fryer is that the temperature is automatically controlled thus providing for a smoother operation and better outcomes. I've prepared onion rings, shrimp and potatoes. It is making me seem as though I am a "good" cook. Chicken and eggplant are the next two adventures. Beyond having a remarkable coating/batter for the item one fries the other is using a sufficient amount of lard/tallow/bacon fat. Do not allow the volume to drop to "Minimum" - don't be cheap with the stuff one fries in. I avoid seed oils. Fill it up toward "Maximum" and fry right. I believe this tool works well when preparing meals for 4 or fewer. It is not for cooking for crowds. The dishwasher cleaning the basket has been super. Thus far it has shown quality and ease of use. I can and do recommend you to consider it for a low cost high value kitchen implement for small quantities.

Great small batch deep fryer
Just used this fryer for the first time. I made beer battered chicken tenders. I learned that you should hold the chicken in the oil for a couple of seconds before letting go. If not then the chicken drops into the basket and sticks. I was able to cook 4 or 5 at a time. Any more and they would stick together. The fryer heated up to temperature in about 4 minutes. It maintains temperature pretty well and a green light comes on whenever it’s ready. This was a great buy compared to similar deep fryers that cost $100 more. Keep in mind that it’s not a large capacity fryer but for small batches it works great.

Works as advertised.
It works as advertised. The basket does not lay flat on the heating element, so slightly tilted. No big deal. However, if you add oil to the max level, it does not even cover the top of a wing section, so I added enough to do so with no issues.A filter on the lid would have been nice. All in all the price is right for what you get. Wings and fries came out perfect.

Fantastic Basic fryer
So far, so good! I’ve completed my first test. I made homemade fries that were double-cooked in lard. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford beef taro for ten people. This little fryer worked like a champ! It was easy to use and didn’t have a bunch of settings. It was basic, just like advertised, and an excellent buy for $54, including tax.If you’re frying food for more than four people, be prepared to make multiple batches.Enjoy!

Great fryer large capacity good price
The media could not be loaded. Nicely made good cost large fryer. Heat up quickly can fry a lot at one time removable basket with folding handle. Has both a steam release area and a window this is helpful than one that just has two windows because it gives off steam, which would normally drip back into your grease and splatter. Very easy to break down and clean. Has large dial with temperatures all the way up to 375 a good frying temperature.

Tastes like it's from a restaurant!
I purchased this and it arrived two days later. It arrived this morning and I washed it to get ready to make lunch today. I have been using the pan and stovetop method making Cajun fried shrimp and fish, can't stand the fried fish smell after cooking inside the house though. I put this deep fryer on 375*F and put three pieces of tilapia in at a time. I was expecting the same temp dip as in the frying pan that's why I made it 375 vs 350*F. I fried the fish for three minutes shaking the basket two or three times and it came out perfect. I did let the oil preheat to 375*F prior to putting the fish. I didn't time it, but seems like it was about 7-8 minutes to heat up with the oil level at max. After using this deep fryer only one time, I am in love with it! It cooked the fish so much better than the pan and stovetop method. This Cajun fried fish, lemon squeezed on it, some cocktail sauce and it tasted better than any fish restaurant around here! I had an almost empty 48 oz bottle and a new gallon jug of canola oil. I emptied the 48 oz bottle into the fryer pan and finished filling up to the max line with the new bottle. When done frying, I used a funnel and a fine mesh strainer about 3.5" in diameter and pored the oil through this setup back into the gallon jug. This strained the oil to clean it of particles and will allow me to reuse the oil a couple times...at least for fish, lol. I'd use different oil to cook something else, like fried Oreos!
