Difficult to say: They can bounce on hard surface but not much compared to hard balls. They also do not go far. We use them for chipping practice in the back garden.

How far do they actually go approximately with a full swing if something like a 7 iron?

I couldn't tell you I bought these for my cats to play with, but I imagine roughly a third of normal distance(my 7 iron is 150-160 yds )
