A great dual-battery charger for a budget conscious photographer!
So, you have a Canon 70D and you wanted more power. So, you bought the battery grip and three extra batteries; two for the grip, and a couple of spares. But, that dinky little charger that comes with the 70D only charges one battery at a time! You are shooting a wedding video and you are going through batteries like they are going out of style. How can you keep up? You get a dual charger, that's how!Yes. This charger is awesome. You have a clear readout of the charge level for each battery. You can choose the charging speed to kick it in a jam. It has the ability to be used with standard voltage of a wall outlet, as well as an accessory port in a car if you are on site. it's lightweight, and takes up very little room. The build feels unpolished, but not low quality. The charging bays use inserts, but this provides the maker with more options than building a single unit for each battery type. The LCD is of average quality.Overall, this is a great charger for the price. It works on both my Canon and Panasonic batteries. I would easily recommend this charger.

It works as advertised, actually even better!
Bought this for my wife who is a wedding photographer and needed her camera batteries charged between weddings which sometimes is overnight. I got this charger in not knowing how she would react as she is a stickler for OEM products. When we unpacked the charger, put a few batteries in and could actually see the charge percentage, she was totally impressed and wanted a second one which is this order. The charger appears to accurately show the charge level which agrees with her Canon 5D Mark IV battery display. She was able to charge all the batteries (about 10 or more) in one evening. Even better, the battery trays can be changed for other batteries, or you can take it with you on a photo shoot at the beach and charge the batteries from the cigarette lighter too! Great find, just hope it holds up for the long haul!

The charger works great!
I bought this charger because I can charge my camera batteries in my vehicle and because it will charge two batteries at once. I have not tried the car charger feature yet but I am very happy with charging batteries from a house plug. I have been using it for about 6 weeks now and have charge all my batteries several times and they all work. It shows how much charge the battery has when you insert the battery and it very accurate. I highly commend this charger.

Defective A/C power cord
I purchased this charger for it A/C & D/C power sources and two (2) battery charging as I am going to Yellowstone this next February and the cold weather will eat up my batteries. This unit will allow me to charge my batteries in my car while on the road or hotel. When I got this charger, the D/C power worked fine, but I could not get the A/C to work. Long story short, the A/C cord was only delivering 2.6 volts. Amazon sent me a new one as soon as I asked to return the deflective unit. I was not able to get it in time for a four (4) day shoot but it was waiting for me when I returned and everything works fine on this new unit. My first charging of a battery that was down to 50% seem to charge faster then the factory charger that came with my Canon 5D mark II. I am sorry that I did not time this, but maybe sometime in the future. All and all, I am pleased with this unit and look forward to using it on the road in cold weather.

Works, period
I purchased this to charge my batteries daily on my Canon EOS 90. No problems. Batteries ready to work when I walk out the door.

Good value.
very easy to use, and works just fine. Not a fast charger but you can at least see the progress bar when charging.

May destroy your expensive Canon Batteries. Cost me $180 in fried batteries!
I have always kept all my gear Genuine Canon with the exception of this charger because I wanted to charge multiple batteries as I go through them a lot and Canon doesn't produce a dual charger. That was my mistake. Only use Genuine Canon batteries with a Genuine Canon charger or you will be sorry!!!I used this charger for a year before I threw it away, I wish I had read this review beforehand :-DThere is a circuit board inside your Canon LP-E6 and LP-E6N batteries that talk to the battery, camera, and charger to keep you batteries at peak performance, report charge cycles, and give you an idea of how much useful life is left in the battery, ya know, for professionals who need a battery to not die randomly during a shoot.I had a battery take a charge on this charger (as I did many times before) and when it was 100% charged, installed the battery in my camera. The Camera would not turn on, "Odd" I thought to myself as the battery was fully charged.I put another battery in and the camera turned on, I then returned to the battery, it read full charge on this generic charger but when I put it on the Canon charger the charger blinked rapid for a moment then shut off "uhh ohh".Sure enough that battery was dead, 100%, all-of-a-sudden. No slow fade into not holding a charge, just one day had 99% recharge cycles remaining (as reported by the camera), to totally inoperative.I didn't connect the dots until I had my THIRD battery die the same way in a single years time.I thought to myself how does such a tried and true genuine product have such a high fail rate.I looked into this and no one is reporting these issues on any Photographer forum or canon's own forum, and believe me people in there will rip on canon any chance they get. Then I remembered the last time my battery came off a full charge but was dead, and it was from THIS charger. This had me turn back to the battery. I checked pin tension (ok), then opened one battery to see what was up.Low and behold there is a very sophisticated battery control module inside and wouldn't you know it, it was fried. After a review with an electron microscope and some logic checks, I confirmed this battery suffered a controller failure, not a battery cell failure. This generic charger (always used on low charge not fast charge) was burning out these circuit boards and destroyed 3 $60 batteries in the course of a year, Thats $180 in hard American currency. Now thankfully I had spares but to a hobbyist this may ruin your chances of getting to shoot if it destroys your only battery.YOU ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!
