This is a quick and fun little turn-based game about connecting destinations into networks. It pretty obviously started out as a pen and paper game, but the makers realized providing little dry-erase board would make it easier and reuse. It is accessible for even relatively young kids and has a nice blend of determinism and strategy for casual gamers who want a game you can complete in a short time with friends or family. The components (boards and dice) are well-made and the dry erase markers are easy enough to replace when they run out. The only real drawback is that it has limited gameplay possibilities, so you won’t play it a lot, but it is still useful to have in your game closet for when you want a snack-sized casual game.

This game is simple, but the scoring is complex. To win you will need a little bit of luck, and a lot of good strategy. It takes a few rounds to really get the hang of it. But the games don't take long, and they give you a feeling to want to keep playing to try to get a better score!

We love this game! It can be kept simple or taken up a notch as you like. Small and easy to travel with too. A good little taste of strategy while not being too complicated to be leisurely. Fun style.

Have played this game probably a dozen times in the 3 months since purchase. Each play is a new puzzle. Just started using the expansions, so I'm finding it enjoyable learning the new dynamics

I bought this for my husband who loves puzzle type games and trains. This is a lot of fun. It can be played alone or with several other people. It’s small and easy to bring on trips. Good quality and beautiful art style. It’s a little hard to learn at first though. This is the second set we have, I also bough him the red set.

My husband and I love roll and writes and this one is great. We keep it on our kitchen table and squeeze it in a couple times a day. It's nice and short.

This is a stand alone game , like their earlier releases railroad ink but with more options, we like it better than the red original. We aren't using the goal cards yet, so even more to add to the simple fast game, 20 min or so. Good game to keep sharp, since everyone plays the same roll its fun to compare at the end to see what worked and what didn't. A great end of eve game. Enjoy & Cheers

I purchased this for a friend that loves board games. It was a quick and simple fun game to play with others even though I never won lol. I might purchase them the other sets for other bday or Xmas gifts.

Error in description says it comes with "Rivers" and "Lakes" expansion. That is wrong. Comes with "Forests" and "Trails" instead. I've played both and you want Forests and Trails.........really its Trails. If I play with my kids or friends, Forest expansion is simple to explain and gets us playing right away. When I play solo....Trails baby. The whole game drastically changes not about trying vigorously to connect all the exits but you start to force yourself to build extra stations whether it's of the bonus tiles or purposely building on Industries so you can duplicate the station die. You start to focus on building a connecting Trail around the whole board and these strategies involved overwhelmingly make the game so much better. Playing solo you take the time to think like you're doing a Sudoku puzzle. But you get to plan ahead and take your time. This feels great as solo but when playing with others, the patience won't be there. For those who like to lie in bed and do a round or two before sleeping, Trails is the perfect puzzle that you try to beat every single night. My best Trails score is 89 by the way. Try to beat me. (I think I scored that right.) :)

Il gioco è perfetto, ma mi aspettavo che vi fossero anche le regole in lingua inglese come indicato nella descrizione al momento dell'acquisto. Consigliatissimo! Compatto, divertente e veloce. La dinamica del gioco è semplice ma al contempo è importante fare le giuste decisioni.

Es un juego tipo multisolitario, bastante tranquilo, relajante en algunos momentos, es rápido de sacar a mesa y las reglas no son muy complicadas, hasta ahora no he jugado las expansiones que vienen con el juego pero lo que he jugado hasta ahora me tiene bastante satisfecho.
