Great Travel Pants
These are really great hiking and travel pants. I used them and a second pair on a 25-day trip to Spain and Portugal and washed them very seldom. Despite this they always looked good and wrinkle free and stains seem to just bush out with little effort. The fabric seems durable and lightweight, and the fit was good, though the sizing chart is a bit off. Based on it, I bought the size 30 to start with because it said the waist on the 30 was 32+, but they were just too tight around the hips. I sent them back and got the 32's which is my usual size and those fit nicely. They don't have zippers at the bottom of the leg so if you want to take the leg off while hiking, you'll have to remove your shoes/boots. Lots of pockets with one zipper closing and the two in back with Velcro tabs. All in all, a very good buy, well worth the price.

Lightweight stretchy convertible cargo pants, ideal for hot/humid climates, 6 pockets & belt
My wife and I are planning a trip to Taiwan and SE Asia this spring, so I need lightweight, quick dry long pants that also convert to shorts. I saw these Toomett convertible pants on Amazon and wanted to give them a try. These are classic cargo pants with large patch pockets. I got the Apricot color which is a very light faded-looking gray/tan color. The material used is thin and quite stretchy which is nice. The included belt has a press-clip type fastener (which I dislike because I always inadvertently lean on something and open it) and has a hook to help keep the excess length controlled. However the belt is ridiculously too long and will have to be trimmed back. The pants have (only) 5 belt loops to keep the included belt in place. (I may have to add a D-ring on the left side to hang my collapsible water bottle). The waist fastener button is made of stamped metal and should be robust. There are a total of 6 pockets: 2 side slash pockets, two cargo pockets, and 2 rear pockets. The RH cargo pocket is secured by a flap with a single patch of Velcro, and the LH cargo pocket is secured by a zipper (that unfortunately is not quite full width). Both rear horizontal slash pockets have a pull tab and are secured by a single patch of Velcro. The waist has an elasticized section on each side, above the slash pockets. The zippers work smoothly and are very quiet. The side slash and rear pockets are constructed of mesh material which encourages quick drying. The zipper pulls of the zip-off legs DO NOT have ID tags on them to facilitate quick and easy re-assembly, so you may experience some trial-and-error during re-assembly. Curiously, the zipper pulls of the zip-off legs are located on the insides of the legs, so you may feel them occasionally as you move about, or sit.I have a 33" waist and initially ordered a size 32, however since I wanted a bit more room in the buttocks area, I returned the size 32 and got a size 34, which has the looser fit that I like.I expect these Toomett lightweight convertible pants to be very comfortable and versatile. I like the stretchy material and the light color, and the price is good.

Great Summer Time Pants
I ordered the right size and they are a perfect fit- they are made of a thin light weight stretchy material - perfect for summer timeThey only thing I have a bit of a problem with are the pockets - those internal sleeves (which really make up the pockets) are not a solid material to hold your small items but instaed a fine mesh webbing material. You couldn't keep anything wet in your pocket - the liquid would flow right through it. I don't know how long that's going to last.

Amazing pants!
Ok so first I have not tried out the quick dry ability yet, BUT after ordering these and I wanted a bit they came and I saw they were made in china. I truly figured I was going to send them back. I had bought 2 pair and figured the quality was just gonna be crap. NOPE! I was totally wrong. I can’t even believe how incredibly comfortable these things are. The stretchy fabric is really quite unique. I don’t own anything remotely similar to this material. Also they did come and they were 3 in to long so I had them taken up BUT these things are the BOMB! I ordered two pair two colors specifically because I’m gonna be doing a series of long hikes in Spain in the fall and I needed additional pants that I could zip off the bottom half or put the legs back on. I have Columbia. I have Northface multiple pairs and the material in these is truly unique..I highly recommend them. You may have to get the link tailored a little bit, but they are very good.I would order your normal size on the waist line.

Decent value - overall good quality
Bought for trip to Europe and just for general use. I ended up converting to shorts and just wearing as shorts. I had enough other long pants. Wasn't sure if the quality was going to be great, but they help up well. Breathed decently. Wore them on the long plane trip (5 hours to NY, 9 hours to Rome, and sitting around airport) and didn't get sticky/smelly. Didn't get smelly around the crotch. Nice and light. Good value for the price.Nice flat zipper cargo pocket, and easy to use cargo pocket with fold over top.Giving a three rating, because if you put anything very "heavy" in the front cargo pockets, they tend to sag. Also, Velcro pocket connecting flap to pockets a little cheap.

Stretchy material won't rip
So far so good, it's pretty thin, good for my job where the main objective is to do walking especially in Nevada the heat gets pretty bad. Pockets material to hold your items seems a little thin, but they seem like they would hold up decently well. The zipper on the thigh pocket could be better but not horrible. I will say as a big guy (I'm 6'1, 270) I got the size 42/32 and they fit really nicely. They are pretty stretchy so you can definitely do some high knees in them lol. But overall so far so good. I just got them and I've worn them once for an 8 hour shift but I walked 12 miles just fine !!
