The F4M Terminator is an extremely versatile full-format load bearing pack. It is an excellent all-around rucksack, is easy to live out of, and is a great load hauler. It's optimized for the scout/sniper mission, with a unique articulating rear interior wall that allows a weapon carrier to be inserted and carried near the wearer's back. When not carrying a weapon, the wall is pressed against the frame to maximize conventional interior load space. Eberlestock side scabbards and weapons carriers can be attached inside the weapon sleeve, to tailor quick-access weapon carriage to match your gun. A tailored rain cover is included and is stored in a zippered bottom pocket. Review: This is a Fantastic Pack - I was looking for a new Pack to fill the role of a BOB and decided on this one. My previous BOB was a Camelbak BFM which is a really good bag but ended up being too small. First off the construction, fit and finish of this bag is superb, I haven't found one thing wrong with it. This is the first pack of this size I've owned so I'm still working on where I want to put everything and what I like about this bag is it gives you several options. This is my first Eberlestock product I've purchased and you can tell they put alot of thought into this bag. I'm not going to stand on a soap box and proclaim it the perfect bag; because each have their own pros and cons. You'll have to decide if it's right for you and what you intend to use it for. If your looking for a "I'm never coming home" type bag you may want to consider the J79 with the modularity and expansion capabilities it has to offer. This Pack is the perfect size for me, the right amount of space to hold my gear and prevent me from adding more than I can physically or would want to carry for any extended period of time. I can't give you a comparision of this pack vs Kifaru or Mystery Ranch (both excellent companies), but I will say that this pack is built like a tank with outstanding attention to detail. This thing isn't cheap, it's hard throwing down that amount of money without putting your hands on it first, but I really feel like I got my money's worth and more. Do your homework, decide what you want to carry, and then find the Pack that will. This pack is so comfortable, plus you can fine tune the harness to match your body. My pack feels like it was made for me. Also, I really like the Military Green color, it goes well with my area. I love this pack so far. Also the seller of this item wasted no time in getting it to me, thank you. Review: You get out what you put in it. - Invest in your gear. I already own the Half Track and love it. You can never go wrong with Eberlestock. While in the military and out I have owned many bags. EBERLESTOCK IS THE BEST QUALITY I HAVE OWNED. It's heavy but you dont feel it. I found this on desertcart for $258 but even if it was $400 well worth it for a life long bag. You will not have buyers remorse. Update: way too much bag but in a good way. Might have to look for a size in between the two I already own. Took it on a training and worked very well. Feels great on the back and keeps things tight for noise disciplined. Can't say it enough, I love this pack. Update 14DEC2018. Still love my bag. Seams are holding up and zippers still work. 14 May2020- still holding up well. There are lighter packs out there but not nearly as tough as this one. Took it out last weekend for an overnighter. Way too much pack but it’s so comfortable. Still happy to have it

Excellent pack! I've had it out several times already ...
Excellent pack! I've had it out several times already and I like it more every time I use it. This pack will haul more than you can carry. Just buy it you won"t be sorry. Update- Two years later and I still love this pack. I've taken it to the boundary waters canoe area in northern MN four times, and many other camping trips. After all that use the pack is still in perfect condition, not one issue. I live in MN so I take this pack with me every day in my service truck with my winter survival gear. I've owned cheaper packs in the past and the straps always start to fray or a zipper fails, they never hold up to my usage. This one has held up with no issues.

Eberlestock F4 Terminator
At 5,000 cubic inches, it doubles the size of my Eberlestock Halftrack. Similar to other Eberlestock packs, it has front loading access but also allows you to access through the top as well. The main compartment is huge, and can be split via a nylon/ draw string barrier. Front access can be accomplished via two compartment entrances on the front of the pack. Two 1-1.5 liter storage pockets are stitched to the front side of each of the doors for accessories...an extra that I had to purchase for the Halftrack. Also similar to other packs from Eberlestock packs, on each side of the Terminator there is a large "pontoon" compartment that can be used for hydration, tents, tent poles, tri-pods, etc. For hydration packs, there is a convenient hook at the top of the compartment to hang my 2 or 3 liter Camelback. The is also a massive storage area behind the "pontoon" compartment. There is open access through the top (like the Halftrack), but also full access to the space via a zipper that extends from top to bottom, along the main compartment. There is molle webbing all along the inside for accessories or rifle magazines. At the top of the Terminator is a detachable fanny pack with multiple access points for accessories such as snacks, rain gear or hats/gloves. The shoulder harness is nicely padded and adjustable via the Eberlestock "ladder" system on the back of the back. The belt has just enough padding to handle big weight, with a large lumbar pad for comfort. Lastly there is an option to add a rifle scabbard to the pack as well if you want. Keep in mind that this pack has tactical and military written all over it. The 1000 denier fabric is simply bomb proof...heavy but almost indestructible. I'm looking at this as my 3-5 day pack, and so far so good.

Best ruck I’ve ever used
After being in the military for 6-7 years and using numerous types of bags. This has been the best ruck I’ve ever used. It’s comfortable, adjustable, and with roughly 55-60 pounds loaded I can’t hardly tell it’s there. Looking for a great bag? This is the one. Don’t think twice.
