Colostrum LD Powder - Halal Certified, 16oz Plain Flavour

This appears to be helping my elderly cat, and it also helped my housemate to clear up a skin issue (eczema) almost completely overnight. For me, I noticed immediate skin benefits (clarity/plumping/firming) and stomach benefits (i.e. bowel regularity/ no bloating)---even some slimming effects in the stomach and back waist area for about two days. Sounds like a winner, right? All from only taking 1/8 of a teaspoon at night before bed with water. (I initially took it during the day and felt fatigued (maybe a little detox happening?) so switched to before bed. ) Along with the benefits I noticed immediately the day after the first dose, I also noticed a cramping/low back ache feeling along with sore, swollen breasts like I was about to have a menstrual cycle. At my age with irregular cycles leading up to menopause, this is a tell-tale sign for me there is a hormonal effect. Additionally, that wonderful slimming effect that initially occurred around my waist was short-lived. I began to gain weight all over---possibly bloat? This feeling continued and by day 5 or 6, I began a full-on menstrual cycle which I have not had in many months. Because I had read that this happened to another reviewer and hers went on and on, I decided to stop taking the colostrum so that hopefully the cycle would run its usual 5 day course and not go on and on like it did for her. That is what happened. I also noticed an uptick in hair loss during that week. I share this particular aspect of my experience so that other women (particularly middle-aged) can be aware of what might be happening if she experiences the same. (Maybe it is just my ignorance about this product though I searched online everywhere about the effects of colostrum, but I was not expecting this sort of thing to occur.) It might be possible for me to just take a pinch --not even the mere 1/8 teaspoon I was taking--because I did like the benefits I mentioned. BUT the hair loss, that was starting to get scary. I am dealing with hypothyroid (take low dose of armour thyroid) so am very attune to what my hair is doing as far as staying or going. I am not sure if I am prepared to attempt to navigate the continued hormonal effect this products seems to have on me without a doctor or multiple saliva hormone tests which are expensive since my insurance doesn't cover them. I really wanted to benefit from this product as so many others seem to have. Like the other reviewer who had a similar experience, besides using this for my cat and/ or sharing it with others who are not hormonally sensitive, this does wonders as a face/skin mask----just mix with water and make it watery to smooth onto skin. The sun damage on my left arm (from I suspect the sun coming through the car window during my long commute daily) will be the next area I try this on. Again, I want to be clear that I truly was only taking 1/8 of a teaspoon at night so that all may be aware that this is a potent product. It might be a good idea to start out below the recommended dosage and work your way up.

I'm so happy I took a chance and purchased this product. I'd never heard of this product before stumbling upon it. I still don't know exactly how, but I'm glad I did. I was mostly interested in the possible anti aging skin benefits. But I see now this product has so many other benefits I didn't know I needed. I love when a product surprises me and turns out to be much better than what I was ever expecting. After only taking this product for two weeks, the stuffy nose I had for about two months had completely cleared up. I suddenly realized I was no longer sounding congested and was breathing better. And the quality of sleep I get now is fantastic! I look forward to going to bed, getting a deep sleep, waking and feeling totally rested without the fogginess or drowsiness. I awake much more positive which positively affects my whole day. My attitude in general is greatly improved. I also have RA and the joint pain I had, even when I just touch my knee bone, is gone. I have a bounce in my step; I fully extend my knees now when I walk. And I wasn't expecting this product to improve my balance. But that's exactly what it did. I can now stand and balance my body by crossing my legs with most of the weight on one leg. I use to try this and would always wobble and couldn't stay in the position very long. Now that's no longer a problem. I truly love this product for the many benefits I now realize I don't want to do without. It's greatly improved the quality of my life in just a short period of time. I'd like to add that I love the taste. It taste like the rich powered milk I grew up drinking. This product also came with a very informative newsletter on the research of Colostrum-LD and its many health benefits. I will be repurchasing it and look forward to continued use to see what other ways it improves my overall health. I take it first thing in the morning and then at night. I highly recommend this product!

I am not a doctor or a scientist so all I can share is my personal experience. I have a very stubborn and difficult digestive system and I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS (hormone disorder) as well as prediabetes (thanks to the PCOS). Originally I got colostrum because I was doing some research on how to help with the digestive problems, but found that some suggest it may also help with the hormone problems. I started taking it everyday, and did feel better. I’m not trying to turn this into a miracle substance it didn’t magically solve all my problems I still have to focus on diet and exercise but it did help. I would have to say the biggest thing was that my husband and I actually got pregnant and it took us only about 5 months (unusual for PCOS) and that only happened after I started taking colostrum everyday, however I was also eating a low carb diet and exercising daily. I liked colostrum so much I actually encouraged my mom to start taking it, and after some time she has agreed that she feels like it has greatly improved her period cycle. For a long time I simply mixed two teaspoons in a glass of water, I would let it sit for a minute (to help it dissolve) and then just drink it, it smells a little bit like infant throw up, and tastes like watered down skim milk (so not great in the flavor department). However, now I just mix it into my morning shake. My only complaint is that each batch I get the consistency is a little different, sometimes I get a batch that dissolves great in water and sometimes it remains clumpy, that is part of the reasons I started mixing it into a morning shake.

I was having IBS-D symptoms and decided to try this. I didn't want to spend the money to see my GI doctor for him to just give me some medication, so I figured this was the cheaper route and if it worked then I'd save money in the long run! I also used it years ago for my dog and it seemed to help her so I figured I'd give it a try for myself. I wanted to wait to write a review to see if it actually helped. The taste is neutral - it's not good or bad. The best I can describe it is as really watered down milk. I put a heaping teaspoon in a glass of water, stir it up and then let it sit on my counter for 10 minutes or so. When I go to drink it the powder is all dissolved. It may dissolve quicker than that, but that's just what I do. It took maybe a week or so for me to notice any improvements and at that time my stomach issues weren't 100% normal again, but it was getting better. I've not finished the bag yet, but I've been using it for about a month and I can say that I am 90% improved! And I'm not sure if its the colostrum or something else, but my chronic acid reflux has improved as well. I have not had to take an acid reducer since I've been using this. This isn't a quick fix, but it has certainly helped with my IBS-D symptoms which also may be a result of me not having a gallbladder.

I found out later that this is the same colostrum that my naturopath uses which made me smile - although she does not buy the liposomal version. I noticed a big difference in my immunity when I started using this and it built with consistent use and time. I find myself able to breath easier and sleep better and just over all feeling more healthy. I don't waste money on products when I can't feel as if they are doing anything for me and so this is certainly a product where I can feel the difference and would recomend. In fact I bought a lb of the same stuff right after going through this bag. I would also add that my wife recently started taking it and her back issues have improved. She's also seeing an acupuncterist and a chiropractor so I am sure that is helping as well. It reduces the amount of time it takes to heal and I have become more muscular. I love it. Also - as strange as this might sound if you haven't researched what is actually in colostrum - my libido has also improved. Yes - I am a real person - I realize how cliche this review sounds. I think if you have any chronic health issue this is a good place to start. I hope this helps - God bless.
