A well-priced dashcam - easy to set app - HIT GPS player - with decent picture
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I've been persuaded to buy a dashcam by a friend who told me that every driver should have one for their own protection. So I took the plunge, though I didn't buy the most expensive one that there is but went for a reasonably priced cam that would do the job. This dashcam does the job well. The dashcam is ready to set up straight from the box - as long as you have a MicroSD card to allow for the routes to be saved. - I picked a 64Gb card up for £10.99 Once the suction holder was stuck to the car windscreen I was able to feed the wire around the car windscreen and door so that the plug would reach the power socket . Once it was plugged in I used the plastic tool to tuck in the wire behind the fascia so that it was hidden. There is only one piece exposed and that isn't really noticeable - I was really impressed just how easy it was.Once the dashcam is connected and the engine starts it records the journey automatically. The cam records the road in front as well as inside the car. I'm not quite sure what the purpose of recording inside the car is but I guess you can see through the back window just enough to prove that someone bashed into you. It does record the sound inside the car so, if you don't want your private conversation recording, make sure you turn off the audio recording feature before you start your journey! The instruction manual that comes with the dashcam is a little unclear in places and I wasn't sure just how to watch my recorded videos. However I downloaded the suggested app - HIT GPR - from the suggested website (it took absolutely ages to download, for some reason: my WiFi speed was lightning fast so the delay was with the upload from the manufacturer's upload). The app is certainly worth downloading as you can play back your video with sound, together with a map showing where you have been. This is an EXCELLENT addition to the package and makes it stand out from the crowd. The image quality is good. The sound quality is a little crackly but perfectly adequate for my purposes. In summary, I'm really pleased with my new dashcam. Easy to set up and quality images. The instructions could be as little clearer but, apart from that, you are getting a decent bit of kit for your money and I recommend it to you.

Feature packed - spend a little time to set it up correctly for best results!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This camera has sooo many feautres! I am still fine tuning them but wanted to share my experience for people who have just bought / about to buy. Camera quality both internal and external are great (see examples) - I used the WDR feature as the sun is quite low at the moment and it worked really well against glare / sunlight. Audio quality is also really good as you can hear it capturing the radio in my example. There were a couple of things to point out - you need a separate power source for the GPS module, it does say that in the description and manual, I actually used a micro USB splitter I had and it worked fine but it should really be provided, I also initially used a slower SD card that I had lying around but got way better performance with a newer one I took out of a GoPro I have. The power cable is really long so my weekend job is to run it around the trim and tuck it away as I don't like it hanging down in the middle of the windscreen, but they provide a really decent size run so should be easy to do. Spend some time with the settings - especially the parking monitor settings - as I found that to get it to not record when the recent high winds were shuffling the car I had to tune down the sensitivity but to have peace of mind when the car is parked as well as when driving is awesome. Easy to install, lot smaller than I though it would be and the quality is fantastic. Definitely would recommend!

As good as brands which you can buy on the highstreet!
I already have a Campark in one of my cars and I'm pretty impressed with the quality so I decided to upgrade my wife's dashcam. It only made sense that I purchase the same brand.Install is pretty easy in the Nissan Juke and rather than use the included cigarette power option I decided to purchase (separately) the hard wiring kit and power directly to the fuse box.The unit is pretty compact but not fiddly to use. The buttons are laid out in a logical manner and the menu is very easy to navigate, almost intuitive. The ability to record both inside and forward facing is a nice touch and the video quality is exceptional.Day performance is as it should be, clear crisp and defined. The night quality is pretty impressive too, there is some grainy quality as suspected but you can still clearly see vehicles from quite a distance without being blown out by their oncoming headlights.Interior camera is good and switches to night mode when it gets dark. Once nice feature of this is the GPS speed indicator. As my wife drives so slow she will never break the speed limit so this is just right for her. For those who are a little more, ambitious drivers you can turn the speed indicating off.Since now I have two Campark dash cams I would definitely be looking for a third on my weekend vehicle, now for that one I will definitely not be using GPS speed .. !!Price is good and so is video quality. If you want to be able to capture high quality recordings to protect your £20k, £30k, £50k car then the cost of a good dash cam to protect your vehicle really is a no brainer.
