Getting full speed at 980mbps on internet. Local transfers seem to pass the test too. They feel a little cheap but do the job, and for the price I didn't expect premium build quality, just need something to do the job.

This is exactly what I needed to simply patch together two cables I had to reach a device that was a great distance from my hard wired equipment. I had plenty of shorter cables (15 and 25 feet) and the computer I wanted to run a wired connection to rather than wifi was about 35 feet from my switch. Rather than spending much more money to get a 50 foot cable, I spent less money to get this coupler, and it works fine. I've got a 25 foot Cat6 paired to a 15 foot Cat6 with one of these adapters and the speed is fine - no additional lag by adding a second cable (I ran speed tests with just one cable when I moved the computer to the end of the 15 foot and then the two cables coupled with this adapter).The adapter includes 2 couplers as well as four RJ45 plugs. Frankly, I don't understand why these are necessary - if you are rolling your own cable you'd just make it the length you'd need and skip the coupler.In any event, the coupler performs well and does exactly what it is designed to do.

Love the industrial feel of these connectors. I had a damaged line in my house and this did the trick. I had a cheaper one on it but it just didn't feel like it was going to last. These things are nice and hefty, they feel like they're made to last.

Very well made product and performs perfectly. I had to extend a 35 ft. Ethernet cable another 15 ft. and this coupler did the trick. I like the fact that it is fully shielded to prevent electrical interference.Although my name is the same, I have no affiliation with this company.

Inexpensive and seem to be working fine to extend a Cat5 just a little on both ends for our alarm system.
