Wonderful for dry skin

Excellent product! My face became very dry this winter. My husband and I would take our daily walks very early in the morning this winter when the temperature was 15-17 degrees or less. My face became extremely dry and flaky. I started using this moisture mask every night and even during the day. The dispenser only releases a small amount. It’s pretty thick but all you need is a little. Saved my face. Highly recommend Dermalogica!

Game changer! I’ve always had oily skin. 3 years into Menopause and my texture changed. Was at a loss and after having a facial using dermalogica products I decided to make my first purchase and I am not disappointed. I found myself of their direct website and plan to add more to my daily care! Love this!!

Really hard to dispense. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but it delivers a really tiny amount and there’s no way to adjust it.

Dry spots on my face, it helped but could use more

DERMALOGICA was once a go-to brand for me, but the entire product line now seems entirely different and have been a hit or miss. The Melting Moisture Masque seemed perfect for my dry skin, but my skin isn't dry enough for this oil fest. There are too many oils in the ingredient list: Shea Butter, Mango Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Sunflower Seed Wax, Sunflower Seed Oil, Soybean Oil, and another unfamiliar oil. Most of them are in cheaper or derivative form that's really greasy, but not beneficial. This product spreads like runny Vaseline on my face, and really just sits on top of the skin. Too greasy. Too shiny. Also, the sunflower, soybean, and lavender ingredients are allergy irritants for me. Many brands substitute these cheaper oils for better ones, but the downside is they can also be highly allergenic. I've used many other oils for cleansing and as moisturizers that work beautifully on the skin with real results, and are nothing like this masque. It isn't for me at all. Besides the oil issue, there were too many irritants. However, they do have other products that I adore, such as their Power Rich skin treatment. It all depends on the ingredients.

I have dry skin and have tried many products, but this is by far the most moisturizing. I would say "luscious." Be careful, though, the instructions say to only us a pea-sized amount, I thought I was doing that, but if you push the pump all the way down, you get quite a bit more than is needed. The lotion really goes a long way. It is referred to as a masque, but it is really a moisturizer.

The container had a major flaw! I took the wrapping off and 50% of the product was still in the container. It is also under pressure so the bottom of the container exploded when I attempted to open it. Lastly, I had to use a wire cutter to cut open the heavy plastic cylinder. Great product BUT super poor dispensing design & a waste of money unless you have tenacity!
