Phenomenal helmet at a great value
Looks good, light as a feather and insane value. It fits amazing and feels like nothing is on your head. I love it.

Long time Giro wearer. As good as they've always been.
I've been wearing Giro helmets since the late 1990's. I had the original Helios and the Boreas that the Postal Service team wore. This Synthe is like a high-end race helmet for half the price. Then Amazon discounts it further. Basically, you get a well-ventilated, light, race quality lid for less than a hundred. Some say it is a little shroomy. I wear a small, which just fits, and I think it looks great. Maybe the larger sizes use a larger shell resulting in a wider look, but I am only guessing.

Right fit and light
This giro model is quite old already but it’s still one of the best helmets I’ve used. Not anymore the top of the line in terms of its features compare to some of the latest models but this one is still very good and you can get it now for a much cheaper price. Great fit and very light. It’s not that big like other helmets that will make you look like a mushroom.

I've owned 3 of this exact model helmet (GIRO Synthe II MIPS) in various colors that I purchased directly from GIRO and years before that 2 of the original synthe model prior to when they introduced MIPS with the 2nd gen.Helmet was a great value. Showed up a couple days earlier than originally quoted. Matte black/blue described as new 2022 stock which it is, they have date stamps of month/year it was made and a serial number etc. Based on how they are stored and handled EPS helmets have an average life of 3-5 years from date of mnfg where it's ability to protect you in a crash is not lessened by wear/age, so I'm hoping to get about 2.5 years out of this before retiring it at the 5 year mark based on its date of production.I would never want to risk buying a counterfeit helmet and this helmet seems 100% genuine when compared to my previous ones purchased directly from Giro. I checked anyway and the seller Motavik is an authorized Giro dealer which is great to know.
