As a middle aged woman learning to longboard it was difficult finding pads that would fit somewhat thick thighs (above knees).Because of the butterfly closure these work! The Velcro straps are a bit long but a bit of needle and thread can remedy that if needed. Always easier to make shorter than make longer!I haven't wiped out wearing these but I tested them the same way I used to test my pads when I was a mid-20 to 30 something roller blading and they feel plenty sturdy. I didn't feel any jarring or sharpness when I dropped onto my knees during testing.If you're an "older" skater or would-be skater looking for pads these are a great first pair!

Las compré en un principio porque son de las unicas rodilleras con talla XL que encontré en Amazon. El tallaje de la marca se puede ver en su sitio oficial. Es muy exacto y perdona un poquito la talla, son extremadamente cómodas de usar y amortigua muy bien las caidas (y supongo eso es mucho que decir viniendo de un tipo que pesa mas de 120Kg), así que si a mi me funcionan creo que a cualquiera lo salvará.Como extra, estas rodilleras no se apestan con el sudor acumulado como otras marcas y me parece perfecto no tener que preocuparme por eso.
