What I have been missing all this time
I have been trying to teach myself to use aqua brushes for a while now, and I was using some that came with a set of paints I bought. I always had trouble cleaning the paint off the brush and I would use the entire reservoir of water trying to clean the brush. (Also, the paint would backwash into the reservoir and then I'd have tinted water.) I kept asking for advice on watercolor groups and was always told "I just wipe mine off on a paper towel" and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for me. Until someone suggested these, and lo and behold! All you have to do is wipe them off on a paper towel! It's like magic!! Sometimes I squeeze ONE drop of water out to help clean it off. And paint never backwashes into the reservoir. I did knock one star off because it's hard to control the water, sometimes it seems to "gush" more water for no apparent reason, even when you're not squeezing it. I have taken to testing it on my hand first before I get paint on it to determine how much water is on the brush. I am determined to master it because I LOVE the no-mess/no-cup aspect of it for traveling. It's easy to fill, there are no small parts to keep track of. (One of my previous brushes had a small plug you had to remove in order to fill it). The brush does get stained but it doesn't affect the painting, the brush is clean, it just doesn't look clean. All in all, very satisfied.

Quality materials
Quality materials at a good price, met my expectations, the ink lasts a long time, perfect basic kit.

Highly recomended
A must have for sketchers out there and a stable on my drawing kit. I used them for quick watercolor washes but can also be use to dilute ink. They last forever and never had any issues with them.

Best water brush
These are the best water brushes I've used, water control that works and doesn't drip or anything, the bristles are nice and feel good to use even coming from expensive brushes the bristles are still enjoyable on this. I've found the do clog up pretty easily, which impairs water flowing into the bristles and messes up water control, eventually can cause the water to drip from the screw seam rather than the bristles. However you can prevent this by always emptying it out when your done, don't leave water in there to prevent algae growth. Also it's not too expensive to replace, and better than having unwanted dripping and poor water control.

Finally!
So far this is my 3rd set of these type of brushes and by far the best. Easy to squeeze, easy to fill and nice tips. All the other sets I've bought have had major flaws.
