An important spice for the family stuffing recipe
I bought this for my sister, since she was cooking a thanksgiving dinner this year. The old recipe from my grandmother called for Summer Savory in the stuffing (dressing) but it is a very hard spice to locate. Anyway, it is a great spice to use in soups, stews, and - of course - grandma's old recipe. I'll be making turkey noodle soup tomorrow, and will be using summer savory along with other spices that work well with poultry (sage, thyme, marjoram, parsley). Anyway, the product was fresh and added just the right flavor to the stuffing. Like Grandma used to make.
