Worth the price & easy to use
This works out great! My parents can read it easily and it really helps the one with dementia to know the time and the day. We just have to remind them to look at the clock until its a habit. Extremely easy to set up. Easy to follow directions. However, it came on with everything almost correct, only had to add 30 minutes to the clock. Date and time of day were already correct. Its going to be a big help to the helpers and family!

Easy to Read without being intrusive
I bought one of these for my husband to use due to his failing eyesight. Liked it so much I bought a second one for the living room. I was worried it would be too bright and intrusive, but it's just the right size and very helpful for keeping track of day and time. I especially like that it indicates whether it's pre-dawn or evening. When you wake up in the dark, not always clear right away which end of the day you're at.

Easy to program.
The clock is nice and heavy works well, easy to set up, easy to read. Mom really liked it I wish I had thought of this sooner. I am going to donate it to a local memory care place when its time as I think this should be standard equipment for elderly folks who are experiencing anxiety about the passing of time, and having difficulty with daily recall. It doesn't *feel* like a $120 clock - the 12 inch version does seem to be pretty pricey for what it is, but it's not cheap or flimsy.I did initially put it up with velcro and being nearby an AC unit the air/humidity caused it to drop 6 feet to the floor. It didn't break. The LCD screen inside the panel shifted by about 5 degrees putting it slightly crooked in the frame, but did NOT affect its overall effectiveness in any way, and if anything is a testament to it's durability.

Best Gift I Could Have Given Her
My mother has advancing dementia and was moved into an assisted living facility almost 2 years ago. This past year with the Covid isolation has taken a toll on her. She finds it difficult to read her beloved wall clock now. She complains every day that she doesn't know what day of the week it is, much less the date. I had been telling her for months to keep that day's newspaper so she could refer to that if she is confused on those issues, but of course, she would forget to do that. Finally, I looked on the internet to see if I could find a clock that would provide not only the time in a digital format, but also the day of the week and the date. And I found this. Not only does it do all that, but the screen is large enough and lit up enough so that she can read it from across the room. She absolutely LOVES this clock and uses it religiously. She is so relieved to not have to struggle being in a continuous 'time warp.' What I also love about this clock is that it was so easy to set up for her. There is an attached stand that allows the clock to be placed on either a table or on a wall (just fold the stand back in). Better yet, if there is a power outage, although the screen will go black during the outage itself, the internal battery keeps the accurate time going, so that when the power eventually comes back on, the time is still accurate and you don't have to reset it! The only time I will have to 'tweak' this clock again is when Daylight Savings Time ends in the fall and the clock will need to be set back one hour. The other great thing about this clock is that besides all the previous information, it also tells her if it is morning, noon, afternoon or night (in case she wakes up from a nap and is disoriented about the time of day). I truly can't say enough about what a change this has made in her life. Just knowing that she can refer to this time piece has done so much to reduce some of her anxiety and frustration. I also like the fact that when the clock arrives, no where in the packaging or instructions does it say the word Alzheimers or dementia, so that her dignity and self-esteem did not take a hit. I would recommend this clock to ANYONE who has an elderly friend or relative who is struggling with these issues. This product is the purchase that I have been most enthusiastic about this year. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

Attractive, well made, and functional.
Absolutely does what it should. I got the 15 inch white frame model for a nonagenarian, and that model is on the expensive side. Print is very clear and bright. The unit has attractive clean lines, and appears well made. Set-up and time setting was straightforward. I have not tried the alarms. The large size is relatively heavy when hanging on the wall, and the unit back requires two hangers or nails, so measure and level carefully. I didn’t like that the calendar date print font size was comparatively small and question that design decision. A very good purchase nonetheless, and my super-senior user raved about its helpfulness.

Great for older people !
I called my 94 year old Mom on a Sunday night around 8:00 pm and asked how she was doing. She said she was fine and had just got up and was getting ready to eat breakfast before she watched her Saturday TV shows, but she noticed when she went to get her morning medicine, she had already taken it and did not remember doing this. I told her it was 8 o'clock at night, not morning, and it was Sunday. I told her that she probably just woke up from a nap. She was a little upset that she did not know the day or what time of day it was. So I found this and set it up for her. She was ECSTATIC!!! Now when I call, SHE TELLS me what day and time it is!!!!

Easy to set up and see with large print
I bought this for my 82 year old mother who had seen it at her neighbors in the retirement home. We plugged it in and it was set correctly making it extremely easy to set up. We got the white frame with a black screen and large white print making it easy to see. It shows the day, morning, afternoon or evening, time with am or pm and the date. The size is very nice and she loves it!
