Very disappointed at the quality. The velcro doesn't stay fastened
I used prime wardrobe to get these, so I got to try them on and loved the fit. Very comfortable. But after less than a month, the Velcro on the left shoe over the toes keeps coming loose. I have only adjusted that Velcro twice. When I first put the shoe on, and again to tighten it a bit. I've been walking in them to get them broken in for a trip. The first time I looked down and noticed the Velcro open, I figured I hadn't hooked it together well enough. Then it happened again, so I took extra care making sure the Velcro was securely fastened. But it keeps happening. Not right away, but randomly. I look down, and it's unfastened.I love how comfortable they are to walk in, but they shouldn't be having this problem, especially not with so little use.

Footbed YES, straps NO
Backstory- I have been wearing one pair of Chacos ZX/2 for years until finally a strap started to fray. So I bought a new pair of Chacos only to find the wonderful comfy and durable Vibram sole is no longer used. One day at Disney World and my feet/knees/hips were killing me from the lack of shock absorption in the Chacos. I needed a hiking sandal with more cushion. The Teva Tirra was my first stop. When I first tried them the footbed was like WOW especially in the sole. I could imagine a full day of walking on concrete not even phasing me with these babies. The sole seemed slightly higher than the front of the foot which is not exactly to my preference. The deal breaker was with the straps. As someone else said in a review the ankle strap is slightly higher on the ankle than it should be for free movement of the joint. I ignored the review and bought them anyway, thinking my ankles are slim so maybe they would work for me. Nope. As I would bend my foot the strap would feel too tight. When I loosened the strap to where it didn't pinch and squeeze my ankle when bending it provided zero support and might as well not have been there. The over-the-foot straps seemed to be positioned adequately and are adjustable which was nice. I have always found the regular Tevas straps to be too rigid for me and these straps reminded me why I chose Chacos in the first place. But as some people might strangely prefer this I wouldn't say it is necessarily a negative. There is a soft layer to protect your foot from the abrasive straps but I found the edges of where this is sewn on to actually be abrasive. Even though sizing was perfect (I always wear 8.5), I could foresee 100% chance of blisters, so I returned.Bering Sea color did not work for me even though I like blue (should have went with black!). It gave the shoes a nerdy, boyish and I wanted something feminine. I would have dealt with color if shoes were otherwise perfect.Pros: Amazingly cushiony footbed, better than I could have imagined. Bottom of shoe very grippy. True to size.Cons: Rigid straps, abrasive edges to straps, ankle strap too high up, stupid color selection

THESE SANDALS WON'T DISAPPOINT!!
Let me begin by saying that I hardly EVER write reviews, but because I Read just about EVERY ONE EVER WRITTEN about these Womans Tirra Tevas in an attempt to decide whether they would be a "good fit" for me, I really wanted to share my POSITIVE FEEDBACK about these sandals!I'm in my mid 30's, but have severe nerve damage to my left foot. I had to have my baby toe amputated in '07, so every summer since, I ABSOLUTELY DREAD trying to find sandals that I can actually walk comfortably in, but that still look Cute on! In years past, I have literally spent THOUSANDS of dollars for sandals that were supposed to be "top of the line," but NONE of them came close to the COMFORT, SUPPORT, and FEMININITY of the Tirra Teva sandal!!The 2 adjustable straps at the footbed, and the 3rd at the top of the foot, provides a truly custom fit. When I was reading reviews prior to my purchase, some said the sandal was to wide, while others said they were too narrow. Let me clarify that by saying that my Mother and I wear the same shoe size, however I have a really wide foot, and my Mother has a very narrow foot, and these Tevas fit both of us like a glove!! All it took was a couple of quick strap adjustments!Others have also complained about the ankle strap "rubbing," but they obviously bought the wrong size because my left foot is so HYPERSENSITIVE that the littlest irritant can send me through the roof, but these sandals DON'T, regardless of how long I wear them!! These are actually the 1st pair of sandals I've owned that have straps that DON'T HURT MY FEET AT ALL!!I'm also extremely impressed with the arch and heel support, as it hits in exactly the right place on both my good AND bad foot, providing long lasting comfort and stability for not only my feet, but also my back.If you're on the fence about purchasing these Tevas, much like I was, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking a leap of faith and at least trying them! They are SO VERSATILE, can be dressed up or down, run true to size ( I usually wear a 9 1/2 wide or 10M, and bought the size 10's which fit perfectly) AND they look super cute on! Teva has come a long way since the days of the "earthy crunchy" manly looking sandals!!It's taken me 6 years and A LOT of wasted money before I FINALLY found the PERFECT summer sandal. In my opinion, they are worth every single cent, and then some! Whether you're super active or have foot problems, I guarantee that once you strap these sandals on, you'll NEVER want to wear another pair again!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, TEVA!! AND KEEP UP THE UNBEATABLE PRICES, AMAZON...YOU ARE THE BEST!! C:

Can't recommend these Sandals enough
Wore these sandals for the very first time on a hike in Grassmere, Lake District. Did a 13 Mile trek on totally unstable ground, up peaks and massive descents, all uneven stone and rocks! Not one bit of discomfort or any sign of blisters after over 4 hours in the red hot sun!! Can't recommend these Sandals enough, comfortable, stable and cool 😊 100% recommended

Useful addition to collection
Initially, sandals felt really dense underfoot. Could feel the ridges in the rather firm foot-bed and feared these and the straps around ankles would cause friction over time. Was pleasantly surprised to return from a 100 minute country walk quite early on and before properly breaking them in, without a single blister. In fact, these are fast becoming my 'heavy duty' sandals. A size 5 does feel a trifle wide and large, (am 4.5 - 5) but better than having feet spilling out. Further, having flat feet, I like it that the foot is well-supported. It's always good to alternate shoes, but these are definitely a useful addition to my collection.

Too small & soles very hard/uncomfortable.
Not a patch on comfort compared to my other Teva sandals. There seems to be a ridge running across the arch of the foot. Don't know if this is supposed to be supportive but I found it just dug in & caused cramp in my foot. Also, very small on size, feet were right to the edge so offers no protection on stubbing the toes.Very disappointed, really wanted to like these!!

Comfortable and reasonably smart
Finding comfortable sandals which are smart enough to wear in town and with a dress isn't easy but these fit the bill reasonably. The footbed is unexpected in its material but I have worn them and it doesn't generate friction heat against the foot and daylong wear and walking brought no rubs anywhere. And I was comfortable. I particularly appreciate no narrow straps across the broad part of the foot- the two adjustments there are excellent for comfort. Size as you expect. Recommended for anyone who can't survive with narrow straps and soles with no instep or ball comfort.

Great summer walking sandal !
These are brilliant excellent fit and comfortable and great for uneven terrainI walk my dog on coastal beaches and cliff paths and when it’s hot in the summer these are great instead of boots and trainers .They grip well and cope with getting wet in showers or the sea -a quick rinse afterwards and they dry out fairly quickly -I’ve used them on boats as well as you feel confident you won’t slip and no problem if you’re feet get wet in themVery pleased with their performance would recommend
