Gets Daily Use
Cooking with an induction cooktop took a little getting used to but after owning this NuWave I find myself cooking on it just about every day 2-3 times a day. Once you learn to dial in the right temps it does an amazing job. Reaches your selected temp quickly and changes in temp while cooking also change immediately. I've owned this cooktop for almost a year now and still haven't utilized all it's capabilities like the timer and program cooking. Induction cooking was perfect for our home since all our cookware is either stainless steel, cast iron or carbon steel all of which are compatible with induction cooktops. The cooktop is a little noisy but I'm so used to it that I hardly notice it. As a bonus it can be used on the road in a camper or outdoors when plugged into a power station for safe flameless cooking. Another great feature is the ability to change the wattage which can be handy is you're trying to reduce the load on your power source. The overall design and button layout make for ease of use. I'm hoping this thing lasts for years to come and I'm thinking about purchasing a second one

The best induction burner we’ve used.
This is third induction burner we’ve bought in the last two years. The other two quit for various reasons. This one is noticeably better than the others. This burner has a much better temperature adjustment. The first we bought basically had high, medium, low, and boil. It worked really well but you didn’t have a lot of room to adjust the temp. The second one showed the actual temperature but made huge jumps between the temps, like you could go from 260 to 212 to 150. On this burner you can change the temperature in increments of 5 - 10 degrees. It makes it so much easier to control how fast your food cooks. The magnetizing ring is bigger on this one. The other burners are big enough to sit a large pan on but the ring is so small that you can’t cook evenly. I do wish the ring on this pan was bigger than it is, but I think it is the biggest you can get and works really well. The controls on this burner are easy to use. It has some features that we don’t use like program cook and setting the cook time. We just use the basic buttons and the temp adjustment. All three burners require the pan to stay on the burner while the unit is on. The big difference is that if you lift the pan off the burner this one will beep once then pause cooking while the others will beep at you continuously and occasionally just refuse to turn back on.Lastly, this one is quieter than the others we’ve used. They all run a fan while cooking but the fan on this one is quieter and it turns off faster after cooking than the others did.The only thing I don’t love is the pause/clear button. I keep expecting to tap it once to pause cooking and tap again to resume cooking, but the second tap turns the burner off. There’s a separate start button that resumes cooking and turns the burner on. This is not a big deal and may not even be an issue for most people. There are five cooks in my home and we unanimously agree that this is the best burner we’ve had so far.

Now I'm cooking
Absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Cook on it everyday. FINALLY a cook plate that works. Holds temp so perfectly. MANY functions. Really like the fact I can change the wattage. AND set the temp, cook pause and it stops instantly. I'm getting another. Just buy good quality induction cookware. Easy to clean surface. The price was great.

Great way to test out induction at a low price point
There is a lot to like about this piece of equipment. But first, let’s go over the negatives. It’s pretty lightweight and can slide around your countertop if you are getting aggressive with your pan. It’s also noisy. This is something that I hadn’t figured. The noise comes entirely from a fan on the bottom. While the fan noise does serve as a constant reminder that the system is heating, I’d rather not have it. I can only assume that the fan is whisking away heat from the components inside and has not to do with the pan’s heat.I can tell you that it gets your pan up to temperature faster than gas. And with temperature setting in 10° increments, you can obtain precision temperature which allows you to repeat cooking once you find the best temp for whatever you are cooking. While the temperature appears fairly consistent every time at a given setting, I’m not sure of the temperature’s accuracy, especially out to the edges of your pan. It’s definitely hotter in the center. And the wider the diameter the more temperature differential you’ll have between the center and outside.Temperature settings make the user experience a dream. It’s so convenient, much more convenient than my gas stove I’ve been using for decades. If I only need one pot/pan to make a meal, I’ve found myself using this over my gas stove. But be mindful of where you place it. There is no exhaust fan over my counter. Some of my pans do not work, amongst them is my largest pasta pot. But cast iron, including enamel coasted cast iron, carbon steel, and my newest hexclad pans all work perfectly. That being said, I have a lot of steel pans that will not work with induction. But they do work on gas obviously. If you remove your pan from the surface for over a couple seconds, the heat will stop (fan stops too letting you know). If you are omelette flipper just by lifting the pan and flicking it, it will be more challenging for you depending how long the pan doesn’t have any contact. If the pan is not touching surface for long enough, it will error out and you will have to reenter your temperature setting and hit the start button. But this is not a huge inconvenience.I consider this price of this unit well worth the money. There are far more expensive units. I have no idea what makes them worth the extra money because this unit is really good so far.

All features work well and useful
Does the job, it works well for cooking Indian food. I like the options for changing heat temperature and the wattage. Food taste the same as cooking in any other stove. Quality is good. all functions work well and response time when you change things is immediate. I like it very much.
