Thank you for your question. We do not have more photo options of this item. The capacity of this bag, can fit a men's pair of high ankle hiking boots. There is also a mesh pouch in front which is handy to store sunscreen or flashlights. In regards to the mounting, it slides into the channel and can sit on any side of the tent and be stored without removing it from the base. Hopefully this answers your question.

Thank you for your question. The boot bags, like our tents are water resistant, with a slight PU coating. You are able to season this material like you would a canvas tent, or treat it with your own waterproofing spray. We use SofSole or NikWax for our waterproofing needs.

Can you leave this attached to a Ruggedized tent when you fold it up to store it?

If your ladder folds into your RTT, I would think your could leave the double bag assembly attached to your ladder. Make sure it is mounted in a location that does not interfere with other tent components (bows, etc).

I got double bag but no rod. What kind of rod do I use?

I'm sorry to hear that your boot bag was received without a needed part. This part is unfortunately not available as a separate component. I suggest reaching out to the seller of the product for a return. If that is not possible, I recommend contacting Thule directly regarding warranty support.

Waste of money

Thought these were a great idea…. Attachment is an absolute joke - velcro to a ladder rung. The pole has one of those turn-friction stops like a painting pole extension, but it broke the first use.Just put your boots in a bucket on the ground, or hang from a hook on the bottom of your RTT.

A Must have

Perfect addition to the Tepui Kukenam Ruggedized rooftop tent. Easy to use. Easy to store. Tent should already be equipped with this from the start though. Came shipped in a tube, which was great and sturdy, but the tube had no ends on it so the inner rod and the shoe bags were just out in the open during shipping. Doesn’t seem to be anything missing so all is well.

Great product, wrong color

Ordered 2 grey bags. Got 1 Greg and 1 Olive green. I don't care enough to fuss with returning and getting another to match, but it is annoying. Doesn't look like I'm the only one that's had this problem either.If you're dead set on a specific color I'd order directly from Thule. But if you want it quick and are impartial this is a solid choice.
