I've tried other much cheaper alternatives, only to be disappointed. If you just stick with the Hewlett-Packard cartridges you're way better off as far as headaches, quality, and having to waste your time doing returns. These suckers cost an arm and a leg, which to me is irritating as all get out, but I never have a single problem with HP. I bought my printer for $100, and to completely fill it with XL cartridges is almost $300! Unbelievably painful, but when you're printing high quality photos you're stuck with buying Hewlett-Packard.

This Cartridge doesn’t work in my HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 . I don’t know if it’s a defective cartridge or just the wrong one?

The best. I've tried alternatives, but it was impossible to beat the HP quality for an HP printer. I really like having this delivered instead of buying it in stores. I know the quality, when I typically need a replacement, and auto-ship is ideal for my purpose. And it's easy to change the shipment frequency if I need to. I highly recommend.
