Taking cost out of the equation...it's pretty nice (minus smell) + update
I admit I didn't know who Tammy Fender is, or how she gets away with charging so much. Turns out she's a holistic practitioner who makes small batch luxury skincare using only ancient herbs and medicinal plants - she studies, sources and blends them herself. They're all natural, hand-selected and cruelty-free. That's how 1/2 oz can be so much. I'm not yet sure it's worth it for me, but I understand at least. I think if you were vegan and living the holistic lifestyle (and had lots of money) this would be up your alley. It's a light yellow milky serum that's very rich feeling. It's kind of heavy/oily and, at least on my middle-aged skin, it doesn't spread far even if it takes awhile to soak in. The smell is something I can't place; it's not unpleasant but it's not pleasant either. It's not floral; maybe it's a nut oil? Anyway, you can use this under a moisturizer but I'm testing it alone to check results on my two worst areas = above my lips and under my eyes (I know this isn't an eye serum but it's my quick test for how moisturizing something is). So, based on how smooth my middle-aged undereyes are after using, this is very moisturizing. It didn't cause irritation near my eyes or lips, two reactionary areas, so I guess it's calming like they say. From both test areas I can confirm it does make your skin look dewy (one of the few serums claiming this which I agree with). But it's not helping the overall appearance of the wrinkles or anything else. Too soon...plus not sure that's the point of this calming serum anyway. Overall, if I had the money, I'd be willing to invest (really, my eyes look great). Other less expensive ones may give similar results but are not all natural, hand sourced etc. etc. So if cost is not your issue, I'm giving this 4 stars only due to the strange smell.Update: one month later and I'm still using a tiny amount under my eyes at night - I can't tell you how good my middle-aged eyes are looking! It's that moisturizing and somehow also brightening. Since I know this isn't meant for eyes, maybe Tammy Fender has a "real" eye cream that's worth checking out. Anyway, I'm grateful she sold this in a smaller amount so we could try it without the big investment and hoping she continues that with other products.

Greasy. Different from prior try.
I had received a travel size of this in a Tammy Fender kit I bought, and loved it so went ahead and ordered the full size. I believe there was a formula change between the time the trial size was produced versus the full size. The trial size product was well absorbed and left my skin feeling great. The full size I then purchased was greasy and did not leave my skin with the same feeling of wellbeing.

This easily became one of my favorite products
I was very impressed with this product the moment I felt it on my skin I knew that this was a winner I could feel it absorb immediately and I noticed and improvement almost as soon as I was finished it was a dramatic difference between the moment I put it on and the one following I've seen an improvement in the clarity and radiance of my skin the quality and texture has improved and overall I look much better than before this is definitely among my favorite products and become a staple in my routine I haven't had any reactions or any outbreaks of pimples as a result of using this I find that a little is all it takes and that way I feel like I can get more usage out of this and make it a better value overall I was very impressed with the improvements I saw on my skin and the product didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky afterwards either and blended very well with other products on top of it

Nice serum but too pricey for me
This was a nice serum but a little too pricey for me to be a repeat buyer. It went on nicely and absorbed quickly. It wasn't sticky and didn't leave a residue. My skin felt and looked nice after using it. But for the price I couldn't tell much of a difference between some other serums and lotions I've used.

Nice, but too expensive 🤷♀️
I had never heard of Tammy Fender products before. I use clean skin care products, so when I saw the opportunity to try this serum and that retails for $75 I was expecting something amazing 🤩 Welp! It comes nicely packaged, with a cute bag and the ingredient card attached as the ingredient information is not on the bottle itself. Be sure to keep the card to reference instructions and ingredients. That said, ingredients are important to me and I looked up Tammy Fender products on the Yuka app and they all received great scores. This was a new product when I received it, so had not been scored yet. I uploaded product and the ingredient list and this serum was no exception and also received a great score ⭐️ (screenshot attached). So, I’ve been trying the serum in the mornings. I am not a fan of the smell when applied, but it does dissipate rather quickly. It feels very nice on my skin. I have normal skin, but the area around my lips can get dry or irritated by certain products and the serum did not irritate me at all and felt very hydrating 👍🏼 It also layers well under makeup! Though this seems to be a wonderful product, I don’t think the price of $75 for a half ounce 😳, at the time of this review, is worth it to me. If money were no object, I’d keep use it daily, but I just cannot justify the price.
