So this is our cat Lacey, who we think has a brain tumor, which is giving her neurological instability, resulting in her not being able to eat from a regular cat dish, or from a standing position. Our veterinarian suggested a tilted, elevated food dish would make it easier for her, in the time she has left.I just got it today, washed it, and it's working! What I really like about this dish - although it is a bit big for a cat - is that you can tilt it to just about any angle (and it will stay put, too!) so that compensates for the deepness of it. Lacey can now eat more like a 'regular' cat, and be more comfortable.From the description, it says you're supposed to be able to put one of the two parts in the dishwasher, but I think since they're both softer- feeling plastic material, I'll be doing hand washing, since hard water causes plastic staining in the dishwasher here.. I'm really glad I didn't spend $30-odd on Chewy, when I got something that will work, for a third of the cost. Lacey ate almost half a can of wet cat food by herself, the most she's eaten in about 2 weeks at one setting!😺

I recently purchased a pair of dog food bowls for my two lively French bulldogs, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Durability was a top priority for me because I previously had ceramic bowls that my energetic pups kept breaking. These new bowls have been a game-changer.First off, they're incredibly sturdy. They're made from a material that can withstand the enthusiastic antics of my puppies, which is a huge relief. I no longer have to worry about shattered pieces all over the floor.Another feature I love is that the bowls are two separate pieces. This design allows for flexible positioning, which is convenient for feeding time. I can place them wherever I need to, making mealtime a much smoother process.However, if there’s one thing I'd tweak, it's the height of the platform. I feel it could be just a smidge higher to be perfect for my Frenchies. All in all, these bowls have been working out really great, and I highly recommend them for anyone dealing with the same ceramic bowl breaking issues I had.

I decided to buy this bowl in a hurry. Our cat came back from a dental “cleaning” that found rotten teeth that had to be pulled and stitches closing up the holes. That unexpectedly required a cone collar around the neck so that the cat wouldn’t scratch the stitches out. Our cat could not figure out how to eat from existing bowls with the cone on. This bowl, with the ability to change the tilt looked like it would work. And it did, beautifully. I had read the reviews ahead of time looking for anyone else that had used it for this purpose and couldn’t find any but I did find reviews, especially one, that said their cat could finally eat all the food in the bowl. I actually didn’t believe any of that but I did sympathize because our cats always leave about 1/3 of their canned food in the bowl and it gets dry and difficult to remove but that’s just cats, right? Turns out, the review was right! I immediately ordered another for our other cat. Our cats now completely empty the bowl! For some reason, the tilt, the size, the bowl angle, I don’t know what, but they can get to and devour the whole serving. I am actually amazed and came here to write a review even though I’m not a person who reviews stuff very often. My husband says the bowls are “freaking magic”. I have had cats all my life and most get mostly dry food (which I guess this would be good for also?) but our elderly cats also get some wet food and I have never seen a better bowl. Also, any residue that is left rinses out easily (unlike a ceramic bowl we used to use that seem to form a concrete bond with the food).

Took some time for my three kitties to go near or even try the bowl. They refused altogether when it held their kibble so reintroduced it as a water bowl instead. Even now, these many months later, their preference is a tiny Corelle ice cream bowl! Also, we found that the position the bowl is placed in is where it stays until pulled off its base as it sticks to the rubber and requires two hands to retrieve it - a drag in my opinion. The colorful base is fun and the fact it stays put is nice, but it was an expensive miss for us.

I love this bowl for my petite 14yr old Pug. It is raised up at the perfect height for her and you can adjust the angle of the bowl for your dog. She is no longer struggling to breathe from inhaling the liquid I add to her food because the bowl was too small/deep for her round face. This bowl size is perfect for a smooshed faced dogs/cats.

Our old little tiny dog is at the point where we want to do whatever we can to make her comfortable. This bowl solved so many problems. Elevating her dish hadn't been enough because the dish was too deep. Elevating a plate didn't work because the plate was too flat. Being able to adjust the angle of this bowl is the exact right thing. The material is plastic, hard and durable, so if she knocks it off the elevated platform (because her vision and depth perception are declining), I don't have to worry. The components of the bowl itself (the bowl and the stand) both have enough grip and friction that she doesn't struggle with pushing her food away from herself because of her arthritic knees and hips. And the fact that it isn't overpriced (but is still high quality) makes a huge difference when your priorities lie in the comfort of your elderly pet in their final days. Highly recommend.

This bowl works great for my old Lhasa Apso. He has 2 teeth and gets food up his nose when he eats. This bowl doesn’t move when he eats and the tilt works great. The color is nice.

My cats love these bowls. The elevated curved design makes it easier for them to eat their food. A plus is they are very easy to clean.
