Q: Will the 10 quart pot fit into (nest) into the 14 quart pot?

yes the 14 quart is just not very tall

Q: Does the 14 quart have a fill line? How much oil is used for frying?

Yes it has a fill line. Uses about 3 litres

Q: Well, does it come with the pictured lid or not? Could the seller please let us know?

Purchased mine in July, 2019 and it came with a lid. The lid does not have a notch cut out as you will read in some reviews. At one point there was a picture showing the notch, but it looks like that has been removed.

Q: Can this item be used on an induction burner or coils?

We purchased ours to be used on an open flame, we believe it would be fine on a coil type heat but I think we read somewhere that a cooking pot metal material must be a magnitized composition in order to be used on an induction burner.
