4 fl oz is VERY misleading!
I did my color tonight! I'll see how things look in another few washes? I can't tell what it looks like just yet due to my hair being wet. The color mixture I did was 6RR with 6N. From what I can tell the roots and color looks fantastic! Not sure if the rest is good? Nor the back roots? Since, I can't see the back of my head? I don't know if it dried out my hair? The add states 4 fl oz. But what you get inside one package is 1.7 fl oz of Color and then 1. 7 activator. The directions tell you to do the Root color base with the Fashion color 1 + 1 oz and add 2 oz of activator. One you do that? You have substantially less ratio for the end color. I made it work! But the measurements are not accurate. But you can play with it with what you have. As long as your hair isn't too long? If you have short to medium length hair? You'll probably have enough product! My hair on the ends, although is still wet? It feels fairly dry? So, I may need to do some deep conditioning and if I try this very expensive product again? I'll see if it's the product? When I have tp purchase more? Since it's a very expensive one time only application! Not enough for 2! But, if try it once more to give it a fair chance? Hoping it won't destroy nor dry out my hair? Since other brands such as Madison Reed their colors ruined my hair. My hair fell out in major proportions! I've never had this happen before? I've been to the salon tons. My previous stylist stopped seeing people due to Covid. I then found someone else and their color was also too harsh also! I asked her to buy Davines. As this was my previous stylists color. My hair always did really well! But there's some stupidity that Davines tries to control their purchases and ONLY will allow licensed stylist to buy.... and it cost an arm and a leg? So she said no! Which is why I chose to try ONC? The color on the roots looks amazing! Yet, as I said, not sure about the ends yet? Nor how it'll fade and continue to be? If the shine will last awhile etc?I'd say, for a home bought product? This better be good? Because, for a bit more? I could just go to the salon? It cost me substantially more than I would of liked with 2 colors and the hair heat cap. Which I know is a one time purchase. But the color isn't and if a salon visit is $90? Some more and some less? But one is spending upwards of $50 + per month for hair color they are doing themselves? That to me seems steep! But as I said, I'll give it a bit more time to see if it's worth it to me?

Pretty red, fades on the orange side.
I’m a natural dirty blonde with 4 previous red dyes in the same family of red. This one box turned out a little patchy but that just might be my hair and not the product.

love this color!
I've been using ONC for about a year. I researched healthier hair colors because I've been covering gray for 30+ years and my hair was fried. I have an old fashioned strainer in my old tub and I was really worried about my hair loss. I'd be standing in several inches of water each time I washed my hair because so much was falling out. Not any longer! I'm losing less than a quarter of the hair I was before and the color looks great. It's downright glossy. Strangers stopped me twice the first time I used it to say how nice my hair looked! Yes it takes about twice as long as other at home brands. Yes, you need the heat cap! Worth the investment. You also have to do a protein conditioner 1-2 times the week you color--what a difference. It doesn't have to be ONC protein, I'm using Nutress and it's great. Follow the directions on the haircolor exactly. I even called the number and had a great talk with the person in charge--he talked me through it, all the reasoning, making sure I got each step and understood why it was needed for the product to work. You will need a measuring cup that shows milliliters to mix it--hopefully it will show 25 ml--that's how much color then that much fixing agent for the roots. Then repeat for the rest of the hair when it's time to get to it. Well worth the extra time and money!

Lessons learned
I have been coloring my hair for years with professional color and wanted to try something more natural. I’ve never used box color before and I have to say, I’m not impressed. Here are a few things I didn’t know about this product and wish I had:1. Measuring - the instructions say you can use leftover color later (indicating you can use less than the full amount) but none of the materials provided in the box have markings or graduations so you can measure anything. I have a kitchen scale I used to try and measure the components into the cup they provide but the amount weighed did not match up with the amount the bottle says should have been in the bottle (1.7 oz). How are you supposed to use part of the ingredients or combine them properly if you can’t measure anything? Also, the grey coverage instructions call for specific amounts of color and fixant - again, how do you measure this?2. Grey coverage - I got the 6N color as well as the 6KR so I could do grey coverage, as the website says. But the instructions say to combine 1 oz color, 1 oz grey coverage color and 2 oz fixant. This made way too much for the roots and left only 0.7 oz (theoretically, though far less in practice) for the rest of my hair, which is long. Needless to say, I ran out of color with just one box and couldn’t color much of the rest of my hair. If you plan on doing grey coverage at the root and mixing a separate amount for the rest of the hair (as the instructions say), you will need 2 boxes of your desired color.3. Amount of grey - the box provides instructions for if you have over 40% grey. I am entirely silver. As a result, I did not get a nice auburn red-brown color (or anything close to what the box color said it would do). I guess I should have known that but there were no instructions or suggestions for how to handle mixing colors if you have no pigment on your hair. As it is, my roots turned out orange which also doesn’t match the rest of my hair color (and there wasn’t enough left in the bottle to cover the rest of my hair anyway).I wanted to like this but it just did not work for me. I’ll be going back to professional color with a stylist.

Best Color
I was having problems with so many other brands with itching of my scalp, dryness and hair fallout. ONC color with its pleasant aroma, not only covered my resistant gray hair but made it soft and shiny. Instead of harsh chemicals you use heat from body. Very happy and I definitely recommend it .

Works Great!
Amazing product, it wipes easily off your face and any surface, yet the colour on my hair was rich. It feels great to use because there is no harsh smell and it doesn't hurt your scalp. The ingredients are food grade. It's safe and healthy for your hair. It works great and I'll be a customer for life!

Mixing cups arrived broken and grays not completely covered
Bought two packs as i have long and thick hair. There's a plastic cup included with each package to mix the product in. Both cups in both boxes were cracked and i couldn't use them.I followed the instructions. Hair color was lighter than expected but it's not a big deal. However my white roots were lighter, so i didn't get the uniformed look and texture i was hoping for.
