Creative Hobbies Lamp Kit for Liquor Bottles, Wine Bottles - Includes All Adapters, Socket, Cord and Harp (Black)

Really easy to use and made some beautiful lamps. So great, I bought a second one

This is the best lamp kit because it comes with stoppers that allow you to make lamps from bottles of various sizes.

Used an old Tequila bottle and just had to drill a hole in the back with a glass drill bit.

If you are into making lamps,this is a pretty good kit to cover many different bottle styles.

This kit is an easy to assemble low cost lamp kit that fits well on the bottles I had. It took very little time to install. I ran the cord through the bottle and out a 3/8 in hole I drilled using my drill press on the side of the bottle near the bottom of the bottle. I didn’t want to run the cord out of the lamp outside of the bottle. I used a smallGlass cutting diamond hole saw drill bit to drill the hole. You can pick those up at Lowe’s or order them from Amazon. I also picked up some rubber grommets at Lowe’s as well to protect the cord against the hole edges.I then filled the bottle with sandblaster grit. I had to add a bit of glue at the cord exit grommet location to keep the sand from coming out. The grit I used was quite small and was coming out around the edges of the grommet hole without the glue . I used glue but you could use RTV or any flexible chalk material if you weee to fill it with sand or something small.The bottle I used was from some fineWhiskey I bought at a local Distillery here in NC.( Defiant Whisky) - Highly recommend this whiskey. They’ve won some National awards for their products.No real cons in Particular in the kit. It would be nice if the kit had a glass hole saw bit and or a couple small grommets. However, I do understand why they didn’t include them. The glass cutting drill saw bits were more expensive than the kit!!! I think I paid $15 at Lowe’s for the glass Cutting bits where the lamp kit here was only $12.95. The grommets were $2 or so. I liked the kit so much, I bought three more.

These work great I have used them many times making liquor lamps for family and friends.

This is ok for the money. Had to return the first one since it did not work. The adapter that sticks into the bottle neck had to be trimmed to fit. The assembly ends up somewhat flimsy.

This kit is great! I wanted to create a lamp for my husband using a Blanton’s bourbon bottle. I didn’t want to have to drill or cut any holes. I stumbled upon this kit and figured for the price, it was worth a try! Turned out to be a great purchase. Very easy to assemble, no need to cut any holes! Very pleased with the way it turned out and want to purchase more! (Pics posted, please note - this is just the lamp kit - lamp shade and Blanton’s bottle not included 😝)

Works pretty well but it’s not the best quality.

This is ideal for all types of wine bottles. Now the three plastic wine inserts only fit certain bottles. But the trick is if you have a bigger wine bottle opening, get or use a cork that fits your bottle, then drill a hole in Center of cork and use one of the plastic ones. Choose plastic one that is big enough to fit your new drilled hole. If a little to big, you can glue into the hole you did. Next ensure you assemble lamp kit then put plastic end into your cork.Happy with item. A little expensive but works perfectly.
