I went looking for a Jane Austen cookbook and wasn't disappointed. I first became interested in this cookbook because I liked the cover art, then I actually peaked at some of the recipes and knew I needed to get it. This is the perfect cookbook to get you well on your way to throwing a fantastic Austen teaparty with the girls.

This is a lovely, slim collection of recipes drawn fromall of Jane's books. If you or your friend enjoys making fussy dessertsthis is for you. Warning, however, do not combine this book with thesame writer's Dinner With Mr. Darcy. Both books are delightful asstand alones but they contain the same recipes (Mr.Darcy has 6 more).This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
