works ok but not what we expected..the thing spins and is not very effective at pulling in the line

I got this combo for the glove box and back packing. Over time, this little combo has proven its worth. It's a great package for salt water shore / reef fishing. It's not the best by far. But at the end of the day, it fishes like all my other gear which cost 4 times more.If you are looking for something affordable and small that you can leave in the car or throw in your back pack, this is worth the 20 bucks.

This broke 3 times after buying it, it feels weird to cast and it's hard to real in. I don't really recommend buying this if you want a good rod.
