Not long lasting
I bought this to hone a two 40 cc 2 stroke motorcycle cylinders. The arms holding the stones bent on the first cylinder. I was able to straighten the bent arms and complete the first one, straighten them again and complete the second. The unit is very lightweight and not very strong. If you are using for limited use like I was, you may be able to get your work done. If you are planning to do more work with it, I suggest spending extra cash and getting a better quality unit.

Meh it got the job done. Well? Maybe... Warranty card is bogus.
So after lots of internet reviews, i decided for the 3 stones over a ball hone. Which is debatable overall which is better... My engine i bought had some glazing on some spots.i would rate the stones included as very fragile, im not sure I actually mastered the up and down technique with speed, but it gets the job done. Perhaps some more accurate instructions with RPM and up and down technique would have been nice to include. The thing that annoys me most is they send this EWK product card with it, with a QR code to register for a extended warranty. Cool... QR code doesn't even go to a special URL, just the main site.So i try registering with EWK site anyway, AND absolutely nothing offered. I would rate that as a scam to get your email address for spam purposes.

Worked to hone my articat 300 atv Engine cylinder!
Used on my 2002 artic cat 300 atv and it worked great. My atv was spewing oil smoke when it would warm up. I intended to replace piston, rings, and cylinder but couldn’t find all parts as a bundle. Ended up replacing piston rings and using this to hone cylinder and it worked great!! Been using my atv for ranch work and it doesn’t smoke and has has littler more power. Bout to change oil soon and there on to prolong all the work. Highly recommend!

Good for one job maybe two
I used this on 2 cylinders that just needed deglazing and some small pieces broke off from the stones. I might get 1 more twin cylinder bike done and it will probably be shot. It was cheap so thats ok but next time I'll buy a better sustem.

Believed to be a good buy!
I received this hone today, six days from the order date. It appears to be as well made as the more expensive hones that I've owned. It has a nice range of diameters to work with. The only thing I saw that I don't like is the shaft will turn out of the base when backing out the adjustment knob, but loctite would fix the problem quickly. Would suggest putting a wrench on the swage at the flexible section and using the thread locker to secure threads. I'll know more about this hone once I use it,which will probably happen this weekend. The stones are riveted to the arms and will need to be ground away at replacement time, then use small cotter pins to hold the new ones.
