Fantastic pen/ink
What a difference a nice flowing ballpoint makes. This really is a joy to write with and I am going to get all the different ball widths to play with. Can 10/10 recommend.

Favorite pen of all time
God I wish that America sold these pens. This one is 0.38 BALLPOINT. Which I didn’t know even existed, I always hated ballpoints cuz they are fat and meant for people who write like girls (big letters). I’m assuming they are meant for Japan cuz of the complexity to writing in their language. But I bought a. Couple of these and then purchased the 0.5mm size and it flows perfectly. If anyone else is looking for a non gel pen that has precision then this will be your favorite pen of all time. The 0.38 was a little small for writing quickly, but great if you are trying to fit a lot on a page. I also love the design of the pen, aluminum casted I think so it has a nice weight to it. I also love the way it grips. It’s aesthetically pleasing as well. I bought 3 more, but also recommend for Americans that they get the refills for a 0.5mm like I did

The fabulous Uni Jetstream Edge pen
Yes, it's more expensive but the design alone puts it in another category. Every time I take it to an in-person meeting someone comments. It's five-sided, not round. I didn't find it awkward to use at all. Retractable, has a thingie so you could attach it to a pocket or bunch of papers. They offer a .28 and a .38 and the points are true to these sizes. I found the .28 slightly scratchy but the .38 wrote smoothly and consistently. I use the .28 for draft drawings. I've also bought refills and they work fine. You have several color options in a lightly metallic body. Pricing on Amazon is competitive...with one offer that's very, very high, so look at the entire list of offerings.

The ink skips quite often on Tomoe River paper (hobonichi)
I really wanted to like this pen and use it for as many things as possible, but the ink unfortunately skips quite frequently. The barrel is great, the width of the grip is comfortable, and it is stylish. But it is inconsistent with the one thing that I need it for - to write quickly and legibly in my planner! The ink and/ or refill used here is NOT the same as the retractable Jetstream with the plastic body of the same 0.38 line thickness. I have both and this one feels toothier for some reason. The plastic retractable version also does not have the same issue with the ink skipping on the page. For some reason, this issue does not happen on other paper. I'm just a bit sad that I can't use this pen in the place I write the most!

Techno Look
If you like a more techno looking ergo pen with Pilot Jetstream ink, the Edge is a good option. A few things to consider: (1) the refill is neither the Parker G2 nor the Pilot G2-ish version used in the Prime, so now I need to buy 3 different Jetstream refills. (2) The looks are polarizing--you'll either love it or hate it. (3) It isn't metal, so it is a very light pen. If you like a heavy pen this isn't for you. Plus, I am not sure how it will last long-term or how it will look. (4) The 0.38 is pretty fine, but it writes more smoothly than I anticipated. (5) Decent click/knock mechanism--not a Jotter, mind you, but not bad at all

Good Pen, but not at $9.00
This pen seems to be a decent pen. The body is mostly plastic and I honestly don’t see the hype. The ink is just okay. Definitely not worth $9.00

Great grip and ink
Light weight. Wonderful grip. Think clean lines the hybrid ink doesn't smudge as much as other gel type pens.
