100% perfect for my me and my gear!
I do have to say, I am more than happy with this thing, it actually performs exactly the way it is supposed to.I received it yesterday, then put it all together and put two cameras and two lenses on it and went out in my backyard and walked around for about 15 minutes expecting the worst.First, let me say what I was carrying...I have a Canon 1D mkIV with a Canon 400mm f/2.8 lensI also have a Canon 7D mkII and a Tamron 150-600mm lensThese were both on my dual Cotton Carrier and honestly, I could barely feel them on there, I bent over, I walked, I stood, I sat, I knelt down, all of the things that one would do if they had this particular CC, it worked fine. I didn't get that 'dangly' feeling you would expect. Now I don't plan on carrying both of these at the same time, but I wanted to test it out, and, I didn't have that stuff on that long, so today, I went to a place to shoot birds and I usually walk around 3 miles, today was no exception.I carried my Canon 1D mkIV with a Canon 100mm macro lensAlso, I had my Canon 7D mkII with my Tamron 150-600mm lens(I have no doubt that I could have carried my 400mm f/2.8 on this hike too, it would've been fine, and it weighs about 12 lbs by itself)I walked and bent over, I didn't sit down, but it wouldn't have been any problem, the good news is, I had zero problems using the CC, this thing is really something else. I have been using a Rapid Strap Sport, I usually only take one camera and lens when I walk too, today I wanted to take my macro stuff 'in case' I saw something interesting, I didn't end up using it actually, but I still carried it. :)There was a slight knocking of the lenses together a couple of times, that was really my fault, and I am still getting used to it too, but it did happen, and I mean slightly too, it was really just a tap. This wouldn't have happened had I used the strap that holds the lens firmly, but I was looking for birds in flight, (BiF) so there was no way I was going to use that strap. There is zero bouncing using this system, at least with my cameras and lenses, I hate that with OEM camera straps, it allows all kinds of bouncing. This allows you to be free to do what you would if you didn't have any of this gear on, almost, I doubt you could run, but you could walk very fast if need be, probably even a quick jog. Although I did experience that slight tap, there is really no swinging with this particular setup.I am 62 years old, in pretty good shape, but still, this was quite the load, but I felt fine, now the heat, that was something else, but the weight had no effects on me at all, that is all I ask of it, and that is what I got. Also, I am 5'-11", I weigh 205 lbs, I'm not fat, and I am of a regular build, the straps did not bother me at all, even though I still need to adjust one of the upper ones, but it still did fine. The only thing about this is taking the camera out of the hub, I still need to get used to it, and that is all on me too, it's not the design, I can do it when I am standing still just testing it, but in the real world of BiF, when things happen fast, well, I ain't fast enough. :) It only happened about 3 times or so, but it can happen, and as soon as I am used to this, I won't have any problem, I am positive of that.I have no negative things to say about this product, and I also received this in the two-day time frame using Amazon's Prime Two-Day Delivery. Packaging was perfectly done, I can't always say that about Amazon, but maybe they are getting better about that packaging problem I have seen a few times in the past.Anyway, that's about it really, I am really happy with it, it actually does what it says it will do, and it made my 3 mile walk seem a lot shorter, it really did, I didn't have straps digging into my neck like even the Rapid Strap does.It worked so well that I am planning on going back out again tomorrow, I had such a good day shooting, I want to do it again. :)

Does not work with Manfrotto RC4 Quick Release system.
Nice system and well made. However the CCS Universal Adapter Plate it came with does not work with Manfrotto RC4 Quick Release system or the tripod heads that use the RC4 system. Manfrotto RC4 is used by many professionals for heavier cameras - the kind you actually need the vest for - not sure why Cotton Carrier over looked it?The Manfrotto RC4 plate attaches to CCS Universal Adapter plate just fine using the 1/4 inch threaded screw. But the CCS Hub gets in the way when snapping the RC4 plate on to the RC4 Rapid Connect Adapter. We have to take off the CCS Hub using the Allen key every time we need to use camera on the tripod - which is pain in the neck. The new CCS Universal Adapter plate, that we got, only has 1/4 inch threaded hole - so there is limited flexibility. I noticed their older CCS Universal Adapter plates had three 1/4 inch threaded holes - I wonder if the RC4 system would have worked with the older plates?Update 7/13/2017------------------------I'm changing the review from 2 stars to 4 stars. We ended up replacing RC4 adapters with Manfrotto RC2 adapters on our on-location cameras and tripods. Its plate works well with RC2 adapter, using the same plate you can both hang camera on the vest or plug it on the tripod. We ended up buying another one of these because having a vest like this is indispensable for photographers carrying multiple cameras.

It will work but can use some improvements
Just opened the two camera package so first impressions. I noticed right away that the d-rings are no longer high on the shoulder strap as pictured on the box (???) but have moved to the top of the vest below the two snaps. They were better high on the shoulder strap as the safety straps seem too long. I have two cameras and two L brackets but they only provide one universal bracket for one L bracket - how cheap is that? The hand straps might be useful but they seem to interfere with operating the camera unless they're pretty loose. Please note I have broad hands and short fat fingers (Nordic heritage?) so my anatomy may interfere with the product. IMHO they can lose the hand straps and provide a second universal bracket instead. That said and $40 on a second universal bracket ordered, the system should be OK. I'm going on a 3 week photo expedition and will have a sore back and shoulders but will be able to quickly access both cameras and lenses to facilitate fast reaction to wildlife photo op's. It seems like detaching a camera from the vest will come to be second nature and beats the crap out of a tripod and/or back pack or traditional neck strap with heavy Nikon equipment.
