Question Block Light

My husband's birthday was coming up and since he introduced our son to Mario Brothers, I was inspired. I used this light as a cake stand. It was a biy wobbly but still had the impact I wanted. (We didn't leave it unattended with the kids or dogs). My son (4) also stole it after we were done and brought it to his room to use as a night light. Nice warm light emitted. You can plug it in with the provided USB cord (which was pretty short) or 3 AA batteries (not included). Has a screw to hold battery compartment closed. There is a switch to turn the sound off. You must push the top of the light to turn on/off. Overall an amazing little light and might buy a second one.

Extremely cool. It plays the coin sound when you push it on and off and also gives you the option to turn sound off. My only critique is that it is battery operated. We are using it as a night light for my son's Mario room. Which means the batteries will go quick. They do give you a usb cord so technically you can plug it in, I imagine it works with any USB adapter. I would have just liked to have a plug for it. You never know if the usb cord is going to work well with the plug you use. I will say this, we have been looking for something like this for a while and found one cool like this but after placing in cart found out shipping was very expensive and would have been 120 for something that looks just like this. So glad I found it for more than half the price.

I recently decorated my son's room in Mario and this is one of the best pieces I've selected. The noise is optional but super cute (especially for the older generation who remembers the sound) and the lamp is battery OR usb powered so you've got options of where you want to put it. He loves it as a nightlight and it looks great!

This was a gift for my son as a night light and he loves it! Pushing down on the top lights it up and gives the signature Super Mario sound when getting a coin. He's had it for 7 months now, using it lightly and it still works great even when it sits on the floor and usually gets hit by stepping on it.

Very fun novelty item and it gives off enough light to see in the dark. There are some imperfections like dried glue on the "?" that wasn't cleaned off and some minor scratches in the black paint. While it is nice that the block can be powered with the mini USB cord provided, it should have come with a USB wall plug adapter. 3 AAA batteries are also another option, but the cover is helded by a screw and I would have preferred a standard cover lift. The sound effect sounds quite high pitched compared to the sound in the game and the plastic does feel a bit flimsy too, but other than that, everything about this thing is darn cool.

All jokes aside, this might really be one of the purchases I'm most satisfied to have done on Amazon. Pros - you punch it and it makes a sound (like the games) and lights up. What else do you need in your life? You can deactivate the sound if you want to! That is great if you wanna use it more than just showing off to friends Cons - I'd have to say that the light is a little weak, so it won't illuminate a lot if you have to go to the bathroom or something. But as a cosmetical piece, it is awesome! 2) What is the deal with all products requiring AAA / AA batteries? Cant it have a charging battery inside? That would be great. But it does come with a USB cable so you can use it without batteries, but the downside is that you have to keep it connected. So you might have to consider that if you wanna put it in a place that you want to keep minimalistic without cables (or just buy batteries and solve that, right?)

Got this for my sister as a gift, and she LOVES it. It's not too bulky, and, being a cube, it fits perfectly on the corner of her dresser. It emits the perfect amount of light for a nightlight, and I can always tell when my sis is going to bed for the night because I'll hear the question block sound effect across the hall. Very cute!

The video isn’t of the product I received. It is of the knock-off I ordered a month prior. I am more pleased with the knock-off than I was the product I ordered from this site. The knock-off 1. Makes more than one sound 2. Comes with a charging USB 3. Has a rechargeable battery built in, making it portable Although the knock-off is smaller, it is 100 times better. (Which is why I put the official licensed product back in the box and use the knock-off)

Absolutely love this item! I gave it as a gift to my friend and they couldn't be happier to add this unique item to their retro gaming collection. Product Detail: Instead of only being battery powered, it can also be powered with a USB (which it comes with) so you don’t have to go through any batteries if you don’t want to. As stated in the description, it makes the retro coin sound when pushed on and off, and once you show that to your friends, everyone will be pushing it! The creators paid close attention to detail in that the color matches perfectly to the original game, when we unboxed it, it was so neat because it’s exactly what you’d imagine it to be if the game was real life. It’s also nice how the question mark is push outwards which gives the question block a more detailed visual effect. Plus, the item looks great when both turned on and off. I’m very pleased that it’s decent quality as sometimes these items aren’t, but that’s definitely not the case for this item! Size: It's a great size (what's listed in the description is correct) and it puts off a decent amount of light! I chose this version over others as this is the classic/retro version question mark block as opposed to a newer version, but also because the size is quite large as opposed to others which when I looked into purchasing this item, I found that a lot of them are surprisingly small in size. This truly is a must-have addition for any collector of retro Nintendo or Mario games and our friends have been complimenting it like crazy and asking where they can buy one. Highly recommend!

La lampara es sencilla, un cubo de plástico y dentro una bombilla pero queda bonita y nada convencional, tiene algo de relieve, funciona perfectamente por USB, emite una luz amarilla media, ilumina un poco la estancia pero no mucho, es mas un producto de decoración, se enciende apretando la lampara hacia abajo y emite un sonido que se puede desconectar, incluye cable USB pero no cargador, lo veo ideal para regalo o fanáticos de Mario Bross

Cette lampe est terrible ! Le look, la taille, et le son comme dans le jeu : bref un régal ! Great for super mario fan. Can use batteries or plug in. Option to turn sound off so doesn't make the power up sound everytime.
