Mixed Feelings
Twisted Marriage picks up the morning after the threesome between Elle, Easton and their close friend Aaron. And like I figured from book one and stated in my review, they pretty much opened Pandora's Box and once you do that, it's pretty much impossible to close. There was good to this book and then there was kind of meh which I'll get to later. First, just let me say, that Easton is still my dream guy - he gorgeous, kind, charming, supportive of his wife and her fantasies, loving as hell and loyal to boot. As far as MC's go, he can do no wrong by me!Elle, on the other hand, still is a little bit harder for me to swallow. While Easton may have experienced moments of insecurity while exploring kink and sharing his wife, something about Elle for me just didn't sit right all the time. In book 2, it does become apparent that no matter what dirty fantasies she has or what she experiments with, Easton is it for her and their relationship with one another is watertight. But, yeah, for some reason, she really exasperated me at times. The bones of this book were about a couple who now having branched out and tried a threesome and having both been turned on by it, each start to wonder and fantasize about even more. Easton is turned on both as voyeur plus participant and Elle gets off on the attention and taboo of another plus her husband being their to witness and partake. So in this book, they take it further, trying to dip their toes into deeper waters while really knowing none of the game rules. There's a big cameo by the DeLuca's (whose series I have not read yet) which leads them into jumping into the deep end and even a very interesting visit to the doctor's office. What I liked about this book was their unconditional love for each other. No matter what comes into play, any temporary setbacks, blowback insecurities, this story really is about two people who only become more intwined with one another no matter who comes into play as they explore the world of kink. And that's really what Twisted Marriage was about. How do you take that next step? What are the boundaries? How much are you risking? Is the risk worth it? Will you come out stronger for it or will the cracks start to show? While I completely believed in their commitment to each other and definitely found the book to be hot and steamy and had no problem with their exploration into the world of kink, I found myself once again annoyed with the author. First, when you're playing with fire and going into the unknown where you let other people in, I would expect there to be higher stakes at play. I never felt that during the entire book. Besides from Easton's one teeny mood swing and semi argument, the stakes were just not there and that took a little away from the story for me. It didn't feel realistic and took something away from the ride for me. I also felt the drama with Chelsea was more than a little overdone and hypocritical on Chelsea's part given she slept with Easton in college way before Elle did. If you read this book, you'll see why her big 'to do' just didn't add up given that little fact. But what I have to deduct from the most is the ending. Once again, there was no real clear ending. Sure, they seemed to come out unscathed but there's no real glimpse into where they're really going to go. Will they hook up with others again? Do they even know what they're doing yet? There is no conclusive ending. And to add to that, the very beginning of the afterward has the author saying she might do a third book on them. When I invest in a book, please give me a real ending or give me a cliffhanger but don't sort of fizzle out on me with a so so end.Would I read it again? Yes. After investing in the first book and LOVING Easton, I really wanted to see how it played out and there were some very steamy and hot scenes in this book plus, as I said, I really do love the fact that these two are strong together. Would I have jumped on it with as much fervor had I known that it's kind of open ended because she might come back and do a third? Not so sure. All in all, Easton = Dreamboat, Elle = 50/50, kink exploration and hotness = 99%, Chelsea = Drama Queen and the ending = something to be desired. Still a worthwhile examination of a marriage where doors are open and sexual exploration is explored.

Fantastic! Superbly done. Off the charts erotic. So well executed.
I'll admit it, I was one of those ravenous readers who emailed Alessandra Torre as soon as I finished reading Filthy Vows and begged for more of Easton and Elle North. Well, she not only delivered with Twisted Marriage but she far exceeded all of my hopes and dreams for where this story might go. I love love love a sexy story, and this one is NEXT LEVEL SMOKING HOT, but more, I appreciate a story that makes you think, offers new perspective, and Twisted Marriage truly did that, giving insight into a seemingly taboo lifestyle and making it feel both relatable and transparent. Elle and Easton might just be my favorite Alessandra Torre couple yet. Their unwavering loyalty and their staunch devotion are palpable on every page. You truly feel their chemistry but also their need to explore this forbidden aspect of their marriage together... and I simply GOT IT in a way I don't think I've ever understood it before. I never bought into how inviting other people into the bedroom could possibly bring a couple closer together, but this story SOLD IT. I believed in every nuance of the fabric of this relationship and I was completely immersed in this journey with them. The uncertainty, the desire, the insecurities, the war of emotions that somehow drove them to keep pursuing the unknown, the desperation, the absolute LOVE, and the decadent edge between arousal and jealousy... I felt every bit of it and it was fantastic! Superbly done. Off the charts erotic. So well executed. I devoured this book in a day and I've thought of little else since finishing it. I've never once enjoyed a book of this nature enough to have me rooting for the couple to continue in such a frustratingly kinky exploration. Even Julia and Brad Deluca had me feeling a bit uncertain after their series. I still came away hoping they'd get it out of their systems and then live in blissful monogamy. But Elle and Easton sold it to this reader and I was left with this profound understanding of the truth that they were absolutely enough for each other, with or without this other side of their relationship, but that it was super hot and completely acceptable that they kept pushing that line anyway. I came away from Twisted Marriage 100% satisfied with the ending this time around. While I'd LOVE to see more of this couple down the road (and Brad and Julia too!) I was also left with a satisfying sense of rightness that this couple is in a beautiful, contented place. I wasnt left wondering about their fate as a couple. I wasn't left with a desperate need to see if they'd survive what they'd just done like I had been at the end of Filthy Vows. It was perfectly complete, this book, a solid package that was unbelievably sexy, blissfully romantic, and an all-around FEEL GOOD read. I LOVED it!!

A Twisted Well-tied Knot Gets Tighter
This story picks up where Twisted Vows left off as Easton and Elle navigate through the effects of their post-threesome life. They have to decide if it was a one time thing or do they continue to play with others inside the marriage and if so, how and with whom? They are certainly newbies and luckily they encounter a couple experienced in the lifestyle and Julia's later advice in that regard is spot on. There is no major crisis in this novel but they do have to face and deal with some insecurities which thankfully they were ultimately able to communicate well with each other and sort through it.I guess that's one thing I liked about this series, is that it felt real. Even the primary male character had moments of weakness and the couple struggled with finances. These characters felt like real people to which most readers could easily relate rather than some impossibly gorgeous and rich people who are commonly the subject of romance novels.I will say that Chelsea's fit was quite juvenile. It seemed more like a teenage girl reacting than a grown and experienced woman. So in that aspect I could not relate with her character and didn't really see that situation as a crisis or story thread worth pursuing.Ultimately, what makes this story great is Easton and Elle and their honesty and commitment to each other. That enabled them to explore some of their hot and naughty fantasies, deal with the fallout together and come out stronger in the end. And that is the kind of story I like to read.

Soooo HOT !!!
Having read the first book and loved meeting this couple and their fantasies, I couldn't wait to see what they got up to next. If I thought the first book was good then this one was off the scale deliciously erotically scorching HOT. I have to admit to loving this couple and how open they are with each other. Their fantasies and what they wanted for each other was great to read and watch develop. This couple had me totally invested in their lives.I admit to being a little bit in love with Easton, he is the most loving sexy man and you can tell how much he loves Elle. They want to take their threesomes a step further and that is when they meet Brad De Luca and his wife Julia while Elle is selling their house for them. What entails in those few chapters alone is off the scale scorching HOT, honestly it had me squirming it was so sexy, kinky and erotic - oh my !!!I have loved this duet from this very talented author. I have so enjoyed meeting this couple and going along with them for their sexual discovery, insecurities and all. Fantastic story, wonderful characters just an amazing read !!

You will love this book
I loved this book as much as the first one if not more .very erotic indeed.i hope the author writes a book 3 as she has hinted ,but it now seems unlikely .The writer said she may address elles infertility , personally as an infertile man i would have liked male infertility used and in a more sympathetic way than ive seen im other books .Loved all the characters , i was hoping for brad and elle to get more friendly , and more men for elle .Well done to the author , i read this on kindle but im going to get the paper books , they are keepers.

Possibly one of the hottest scenes I have ever read.
Elle and Easton are back with more of their sexploits. I didn’t think this story could get any hotter after their encounter with the De Lucas. But their introduction to Dr Loutin. That may well be one of the hottest scenes I have ever read. Such a great unusual storyline with great characters. I’m glad in a way that Elle hasn’t got pregnant as I feel a lot of authors seem to use it as a HEA. And find that it’s not the case for everyone. However I will be happy if there is more to come from Elle and Easton in the future as I feel they have so much more to explore with this lifestyle.

Absolutely filthy
Well, not what I usually go for, but it was executed well. Loved Elle and Easton's relationship, they were natural and funny without their being cringey, as were the other characters who appear in the book. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed reading their story and devoured both books in the series over a weekend.

Hot
Easton and his pure love and support of his wife and her desires is my favourite part of these books. I love how they always come back to one another and reaffirm after ever encounter, as well. Also, other life struggles are a part of this story making it even more real.Overall, a fun hour to spend reading.
