Not 5 LEDs at all!
This is a single LED in a chromed plastic housing that has 5 "lenses" which attempt to spread the light -- and fail. You can't open the housing without permanently destroying it, either. The Molex (5-volt) connector is functional but not on a quality level with any other Molex plugs in your computer, so you may have to spend time adjusting things with needle-nose pliers. For 50 cents, you might want to have a single UV-colored diode with a crappy connector, but this is complete blatant ripoff. It's not on a level with Logisys' other offerings, thankfully!

there is a reason it is so cheap!
Frankly, this is the first time I have simply felt cheated out of my money! The ad gives you the impression that this product is both larger than it actually is (this thing smaller than a typical thumb drive); moreover (and of far greater importance), a great many of the comments made by other 'supposed' customers repeatedly indicate how BRIGHT are the 5 lights (so much so that they 'LIGHT UP' the entire inside of their computer case!). You cannot tell this thing is even present inside your case (yes, I have various plexi-glass windows) let alone what colour it might be. The only way to even tell this thing exists is to place it on the outside of your case, and then only if you happen to be about five inches away and staring directly at it! This is not a case of subjective experience, this is a case of FRAUD, plain and simple. I will never purchase anything from this company ever again. I hope my 6 bucks was worth losing a customer. ENJOY!

They work! Barely!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Yes, the lights work. But, IMO they don't have the same brightness as in the photo. See for yourselves in my video. Keep in mind, I was kind with the video because I turned off all other lights, during the daytime, or with the other PC case lights on, it goes down in brightness about 60-75%.

Cool black light!
Not too bright, but it was fairly cheap, so I'm not complaining, it is also a UV light so its hard to judge brightness. I have this velcroed(included) to the top of my side fan aiming directly on the motherboard in my Antec 300 case. It provides a neat glow clearly visible from the top fan angle and visible through the side fan angle as well. I'm sure if I didn't also have two blue lit fans in the front this would be more visible, but it gives a pretty awesome look to the computer even with the blue lights in use!

Not Bright
Well from reading the description, it was well written for the product, i bought into it and bought the lights hoping it be brighter than the LED stick lights but the sticks are way brighter, the LED lights are still really cool to have but the way the lights shine its not as bright and requires more than one and two, in order to birght an over sized case you will need at least three to four of these babies to brigten the whole case but mid size cases will only take at least two or three in the certain areas you need, but this device is great for the front of your case with the mild light shine. i only recommended this to peeps who want average light and those who want to shine their whole case completly, stay away from these, not for you. ment for small and mid size cases. overall im pleased with the color depth and the small compact size. the poor star is for not being bright enough to my full size case. but better than nothing.

Factory SNAFU ??
Logisys Ultra Violet, UV, Purple 5 LED Lazer Light 5LED Neon MOD PC Computer I was just observing the item I purchased- and, reading the reviews of it. I got this to illuminate the cooling duct body of my video card- HIS Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Native HDMI 1 GB DDR3 AGP Graphics Card (H467QS1GHA) desciption stated that a UV light would make the housing of the IceQ cooler glow-I have the same opinion- lights arent very bright at all. Upon closer examination- I found that the wiring of the MOLEX is incorrect!! They (factory) have wired it to run on the +5 volt pin- clearly underpowering the light! I simply switched the hot wire of the molex- to the +12 volt pin position. Light is VERY bright now- dont know if this increase in voltage will shorten lifespan of it- but at $5.00 Im not worried. Please comment if you purchased this light- and if you tried my idea- and if it worked for you. Thanks- Bubba

Dim for LED
I'm aware those most UV products aren't very bright. I was hoping that these would be much brighter than they are though. The UV functions well but there is little to no noticeable case illumination. I bought a set of non-UV green LEDs that are pretty much identical and they are extremely bright.

Rather awesome
Sick this puppy to the side of my power supply with the velcro inserts, as it's visible through my side panel. Looks like a spaceship landed in my computer. Not too bright, not too doom. Five stars
