This cable does not fit into the plug on the back of the Dragonfly 7 and it is a poor fit at best at the red keeper end that connects to the transducer.West Marine said I need Part #E66074 but that may well have been an error. This cable is #A80224. Shame on Raymarine for dropping the design engineering ball. I guess they must have changed designs somewhere along the way. Some people seem to have this cable fit their DF7.Life seems to stay interesting. Had a friend try to pick up a the correct transducer cable extension at the West Marine Store in Seattle. They had the A80224 but this part number is not for the Dragonfly 7 with the green plug. My correct part number may be A80312. Beware which color plug keeper is on the back of your unit. Green vs Red.Now we'll see if the seller will allow me to return the extension cable.

Don't Buy For Dragonfly 7 Pro
Do not buy if you have the Dragonfly 7 Pro it does not fit. you need the one with the adapter that has a thumb turn. apparently Raymarine has forgotten that they change the cord for that model even West Marine has the wrong cord and i spent a lot of time with the sales guy trying to figure out what cord i needed. I haven't tried it yet but A80312 model number is what i was told to get but we'll see if that works.

I bought this cable as an additional power cable so ...
I bought this cable as an additional power cable so I could connect it to a 12V power supply indoors and enter waypoints and become familiar with the navigation of the user interface of the Dragonfly 5 Pro in the comfort of my home. It WILL NOT connect to the Dragonfly Pro 5. The problem with this cable is that it only has one key on the plug in and the original cable that came with my Dragonfly 5 Pro has 3 keys on it. I sent it back to the vendor and will rate that experience as well once completed.As a follow-up, I corresponded with the vendor, Boxybay, to return this cable and their customer service was outstanding. Although the product did not work on the Dragonfly 5 Pro, something hard to determine on the site, I would recommend the vendor based on the customer service experience. I rated a 3 - 1 for the product that did not work for me and 5 - for the customer service.
