MSM will not have that bitter taste if you add enough water/liquid and make sure its stirred well. I usually do 10 to 12 oz of water for each 1/2 teaspoon of MSM. Start with half warm water to make sure it dissolves well then add the rest of the room temperature water then stir and stir some more. It must be well mixed. Even though you cant see it in the water, dont be fooled, I usually stir for at least a minute. There is no taste of bitterness of the MSM if you add enough liquid and stir. I hope this info helps someone. I was about to give up on MSM because it tastes awful if not mixed correctly, I am grateful I figured this part out.

Q: I have been taking MSM for 4 days now. I have had a very bad constant headache. Should I discontinue use, or try to stick it out.

Even though this is a very old question, but I still want to add my knowledge Incase anyone else is experiencing the same symptoms. 1. It's mandatory that you drink 2 liters(how much adults are supposed to drink daily) of water every day when you're on MSM otherwise you can experience headaches along with several other very uncomfortable symptoms(diarrhea, nausea, swelling, and breakouts are amongst several other possible symptoms if you don't) 2. It's also mandatory for you to 'wean' yourself on to it. It's recommended that you start with 1/8 tsp. Drink that once or twice(at most) a day for 2 weeks. After that increase to 1/4, and repeat. Keep increasing the dosage every 2 weeks until you reach 1 full tsp.

What an interesting question. I honestly have no clue. I suppose you could. I don’t see a reason why you couldn’t. I just don’t know. I was once told that MSM is quite fragile so it have no impact on mixing with amla???
