This is a great smoothie press. We love seedless smoothies!
We love using this smoothie press every day! We used to be annoyed tons of seeds that were in our smoothie. All of those seeds would get stuck to our tongs and we’d have to spit all those seeds out; then those seeds would get all over the house. Now, thanks to the smoothie press, we never get seeds in our smoothies now. It’s easy to use to buy simply turning the knob and pressing down it captures all the seeds through the mesh filter and allows the drink to pass through. I’ve been surprised at how even rather thick smoothies the smoothie press can capture the seeds at the bottom and leave the smoothie at top. There is a quick fix for the only inconvenience I found so far. Thick smoothies don’t pour out of the spout very easily and the fix is to unscrew the lid and tilt the lid to the left little bits of the mesh screen keeps the seeds at the bottom and then pour the smoothie out into a cup.I would recommend the smoothie press for anyone who makes smoothies and honestly everyone should own vitamin and smoothie press because of the health benefits that come from eating fruits every day. Smoothies are fun and tasty way to eat healthy.

Works well, could be improved a bit
This works pretty well. It’s a little hard to get it all the way down when the cup is full so I just drink some of the strained part and then push it down some more. This photo is as far down as the plunger goes, so you do lose a bit of the smoothie. I can’t eat seeds right now, but my husband can so I just give him the bottom part with all the seeds and smoothie that’s left. I wish the plunger was not permanently attached to the lid. Then I could push it down even further. I may try to remove it from the lid. If the plunger was separate from the lid, then I would have given it 5 stars. It did well at removing the seeds though.

I would have given a 4 star because of a couple things but really it is a great product so I gave 5
This works very well to remove seeds. I would have given a 4 star because of a couple things but really it is a great product so I gave 5. The couple things I wish were different: 1) there should be a bigger size option. When I have a smoothie it's usually a meal and it's about twice the size of this cup especially considering the max fill line and the amount of space at the bottom for the seeds/plunger. 2) if I close it to transport by pushing the plunger completely in the drink hole, it's almost impossible to open the drink hole again, I have to pry it open with a spoon (but good that it doesn't leak!). I love that it can go on the dishwasher and the grip to hold it without freezing your hand and the wide drink hole. The seed removal works perfectly, removed TONS of blackberry seeds. I haven't found a seed yet in about 10-12 uses. Thanks for inventing this! Great for ppl who can't eat seeds.

Works as it should 80 less seeds!
Takes 80% of the seeds out. You lose about 3 oz of your drink in the bottom. Enough for only 1 small drink. Didn't fit my needs to filter 2 large smothies a day.

Waste of money
I am out of the return window, otherwise I would. I used it twice only and both try ended with the same result. It clogs up fast and after that is impossible to press it further. I only used almond drink and blue berries and black berry. The black berry seeds are the main reason I got it. The whole idea came from thinking about inventing something like this and as usual I checked it if it already was and I found it here in Amazon. Well I originally wanted to use my French press, and actually I did ended up trying that and it worked! Not this one. The other problem is the size; it is too small. I am sorry to bring it down, because the idea is good, only it wasn't well developed.

Works as advertised
My kids can’t stand all the seeds in smoothies, so I got this to try and reduce it. It doesn’t eliminate ALL seeds, but they say that. I does eliminate most of them and that made a huge difference.I ended up making a lot of smoothie and then using this to eliminate seeds, pouring the remainder in a bowl, then doing it a second time, and pouring the less seeded smoothie drink into ice cube trays and freezing. Now I can just pull out some cubes, blend it up and have a mostly seedless smoothie ready for my kiddo.

Wasteful
My biggest concern before purchasing was that this would make my smoothies too thin, our family likes them nice and thick. Several people responded to me that it doesn't. However it did thin them out. So I tried just using it by putting the fruit only in it to rid the seeds before I put everything in the blender. What a waste. I would have had to double the amount of fruit because there is so much waste. I don't understand why the manufacturer made the guard height so high. Seeds are tiny. The other picture shows the lip under the lid. I'm sure those little knows have some purpose, I just don't know what it is. But, they killed my hand when I was twisting the cap on. Disappointed. I switched to using fewer strawberries and added blueberries so the seeds weren't so predominant.

I HATE seeds from berry smoothies and the cup does a ...
The cup delivers on it's promise. I HATE seeds from berry smoothies and the cup does a nice job of getting most of the big ones strained away. Makes it a much better smoothie experience for me, someone who hates uneven texture in my food. There are some design elements to the cup that I don't love. You can tell it's from a smaller start up type company. The plunger in the center, is made from unfinished metal. I also wish it wasn't see through, sometimes the color of smoothies get gross after an hour or so especially if you add greens and you eat with your eyes- however the cup being clear also allows you to see the trapped seeds at the bottomOnce the top is sealed off with the stopper, the top is actually really hard to open because of the suction from the plunger/strainer thing.
