Very nice fillets of herring with a nice smoky flavor. No bones ! A good deal from amazon IMO ! I flake the fish into a rice or macaroni dish usually. One can serves 2 meals this way - very economical !

I don't want Amazon to run out!These are the same as Rugenfisch at a much better price!Same can produced on the same line, just a different label!In my opinion, these are the best smoked herring on the market.The portion is large, the flavor awesome!Try draining them and putting them in the refrigerator to cool.It really brings out the flavor!I buy cases of sardines, tuna, squid in ink sauce and these multiple times a year.Free prime delivery! Nice option for a smoky flavor when you want it. Not the best canned fish but far from the worst. occasionally I crave this more smoky flavored treat over a traditional sardine. Good boneless option for canned fish beginners as well. cannot go wrong with these at their usual price point.

These are large pieces, but the herring taste and flavor is dull with mostly the smoke coming through.
