Q: Is this a decent quality plastic?

I find the plastic to be sturdy and flexible. It should last a long time and looks good. After all, it just sits there.

Q: My order is missing cable ties?

They are only in ONE of the two boxes.

Q: Does the box come with the power strips/bar?

No it does not come with a power strip.You have to use your own power strip.The cable box is great for hiding those messy cords.

Q: Will this box fit a square power strip?

The larger one holds the power extension with 8 outlets (oblong shape) easily. The shorter side of it is about 5 3/4 inches (inside). If you square power strip is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 or under, I'd say, you wouldn't have any problem to make it fit.
