We bought it for a present.

As of recent our daughter (9 yrs) has taken great interest in drawing anime style pictures. We therefore wanted to buy a easy-to-follow, yet comprehensive guide as we did not want to buy several books to begin with. This book covers all relevant aspects: from body-head ratio to facial expressions, hair styles and clothing. My daughter and I took the book plus pens and paper with us on a lengthy train trip making our first attempts following the step-by-step guides. We were both very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend.

Its fun to learn how to draw with this book but i struggle with it quite a bit!

This book is so helpful! Among the how to draw anime books, this one is the best by far. My girl’s skills are improving, as she’s getting through the process of drawing anime using Chibi style super easy. It’s a combination of fundamental ways of building each body part of anime characters and following by one of the most detailed step-by-step tutorials. I love this book - down-to-earth, clear to follow, easy to practice with, and have a specific, vivid goal to achieve. For any kids who would like to be a professional anime artist in the future, this book is highly recommended! Very satisfying!

by the way, here's I bought this book as a gift for my 12-year old niece who loves watching anime and draw her favorite characters. She enjoys using this book so much! The book is very well-structured and clear, so my niece finds it easy to follow the tutorials. Great illustrations - which are large and vivid, especially with the poses and clothing section in this book. It even contains a unique way to describe emotions with a formula that everyone can apply!

My daughter is really into anime, so I bought this book as a gift for her. And when she showed me her first anime face drawing using the tutorial in this book grinning ear-to-ear proudly, I knew this book is a perfect choice for her. I personally love how clear and easy this book is, with detailed instructions and small but powerful tips that help kids a lot on their drawing anime hobby. 10/10 would be recommended!
